There's a part in Anthony Kedis' autobiography Scar Tissue where he talks about Dave Navarros time with RHCP. He describes one day when Dave turned up to practice wearing a "Coke hat" meaning the kind of hat you only wear when doing a lot of coke. This looks like one of those hats.

2 reasons really, they broke away from the infrastructure of Giant Distribution when it got weird over there, and when they brought Salman on as team manager and he kickoff all the odd ball dudes that the Black Label fan boys really loved.

I enjoyed it. He's an A typical addict and it is sort of predictable "I got fucked up then went to rehab then got fucked up again the went to rehab then got fucked up again". It's still an easy read and has its moments. I preferred Slash's autobiography.

I bought nothing but Black Labels for a while and was super hyped on their team and then one day their decks were suddenly the shittiest China wood ever and their team evaporated.
