I tried them and they fit a lot like the Carpet C Star pants. Basically like Surf Pants but out of a thicker material. They're pretty nice but I just didn't like the aesthetics of the stitching much in person.

I honestly haven't found an all around better denim for me than 550's sized 1 waist size up.

Really appreciate the info and comparisons, thanks man

Can anyone recommend a loose fit but tapered pair of chinos? I like to see my feet when I'm skating.
I've got a pair of Polar 92 Jean's and love the fit but they're too hot for summer. Need something more lightweight and breathable.

hmmmmm.......i got the magenta OG cords that are nice and roomy in the thigh area and have a good amount of taper. I am usually a 32 waist but sized up to 34.....like the fit but they are rather short i feel like!

Just got the Magenta Loose Pants/ drawstring pants, so they are not classic chinos but fit nice....they don't taper as much as the OG Cords but i can still see my shoes with them. Got them in XL and are kinda similar to surf pants in Large but thicker material- so not a classic chino but you might wanna think about them considered you want comfy pants to skate in

Krooked Eyes pants are more tapered than a Polar Surf.

Saw on the huf Instagram story a clip of Brad cromer wearing some pants with what looked like a huf logo on the pocket. I assume they’re his pants hopefully coming out soon. Fit looks nice, similar to silver tabs

I dm'd him a few months ago about them. He said summer, but the supply chain issues may push them back. Said 3 different colors coming.

That's funny, I was also in his dm's about his Huf jeans and he told me the same thing! I think he also said the 3 colors are lightwash, black, and a wine.

I just got my first pair of Levi’s 569’s. They have a little bit of stretch making them what I’ve been looking for in a pair of jeans. I’ve been rocking the Levis XX chino and the Gap EZ relaxed taper pants for the past year as well

The gap relaxed taper has been my go to. Not super baggy but loose enough and has a nice taper. All the washes have a different fit

Our first sightings of the cromer’s

Doesn't look that washed black to me but nice find.

I wonder if he'll actually wear these or still rock silver tabs lol

Has anyone here had the newer Dickies Skate pants? I've seen a few people out with the "slim" pant but they're not particularly slim at all. Kind of a nice loose fit. Probably not baggy by a lot of this thread's standards but I think they look nice.

Is the sizing similar in Dickies 874 flex and regular?

That's what I'd like to know. The few times I've seen them in the wild they looked quite similar. Maybe a TAD smaller in the leg opening but nothing a size up couldn't fix.

Reason I ask is because their older skate line was a little thinner and more breathable in the summer than standard Dickies. Those were also a little slimmer than I prefer, but I've seen that they updated their skate line this year and I'd like some thinner chinos for these humid ass days.

the regular and flex are the same.  the flex may seem looser bc of the material, but they are the same pant.   the flex will also potentially stretch whereas the standards are less likely too.

as for the skate line, the slim pant they make is the thinner more breathable that comes in flex. while the straight fit skate pant is non flex and less breathable

Dockers pants are very breathable and super loose, I’m sure you can find some for dirt cheap online, I’m currently wearing cargos from them in 30C heat and they feel really nice.

Lee chinos are also great. I have a pair I’ve been skating with for 2 years now and it’s durable but still breathable, actually any brand of pants for old people do the trick.

Been looking forward to these. Might have to take it back to the DM's for measurements.

EDIT: Took it to the DM's said waist is true to size, not novelty like Polar. "Baggy with a tapper"

Sizing is the same, but don't bother with the flex ones. Unless they've changed them in the last few years; they hardly stretch at all, the fabric looks weirdly shiny, and they shrink significantly in the wash. Just go with the regular ones and go up at least one size in the waist.

HUF Cromer's are live

https://hufworldwide.com/collections/fall-22/products/cromer-pant-pt00242?variant=42372875321513

Man I want these. But they really blew it not giving good sizing for the length. Probably too short for me

Description mentions the models being 5'8" and 5'7" and in those photos there is a decent amount if stacking. Might be SOL if over 6'

EDIT: Base size 32: waist 34" / inseam 32" / leg opening 16.5"

The elastic waist ones, or is there another pair?

I have a pair of Vans chinos that are super comfy but they're just a tad slimmer than I prefer to wear these days.

I feel ya on that ^^ at this point in my life, I’ve accepted that at 6’3” 200ish I am just not gonna find skate brand pants that fit well.

I’ve accepted that fate as well at 6’6. I was just hoping maybe I could support Cromer when his pant dropped. Brands need to start doing sizing by waist and length not just standard length
