With SB dunks there’s a few different variations. There’s the OG which does not have the lace saves on the first two lace holes and does not have the foam midsole that’s visible on the bottom of the sole. These are what SB dunks were like in the beginning starting with the Gino, Forbes, Mulder, and Supa. They eventually made highs in the OG way as well with no lace protection as well. These had puffy tongues usually but there’s a few exceptions. The upcoming Huf dunks are ogs with slim tongues and the most recent supreme dunk lows were ogs with puffy tongues.
The modern dunks have the lace protectors and the foam midsole as well as the puffy tongues.
Then there’s the decon dunks or deconstructed which have modern features like the lace protectors and foam midsole but have a slim tongue and slim around the ankle area. Examples are the Doc Martens looking dunk highs, or the soulland dunks. All the ishod dunks were decon or at least based on decon if it didn’t say they were decon.
Most if not all the dunk colorways Nike designs themselves recently that aren’t collabs or rider colorways are standard modern style dunks. Collaborators sometimes choose to do ogs or decon’s.
