I mean, this obviously isn't meant for skating. Likely just through Vans "lifestyle" channel of product and distribution. Doubt we will see these in skate shops. There is no way that 1996 raver girl luggy sole is for skating.

Are we gonna hate on Nike or Adidas for each of their kooky non-skate lifestyle mashup bullshit in this thread too?

nike nor adidas claims they are the number one skate shoe brand, or even fully a skate shoe brand. they are indeed sports brands that make skate shoes. vans always claims they are core skate. so yeah were gonna complain about these. stay in the lane you live in vans.

I mean... Vans was a boat shoe brand that got adopted by skaters right? They've been making non-skate shoes since 1966 or whatever, and have made those luggy non-skateable girls fashion shoes since the 80's at least. Check that Pillowheat guy's collection to see some vintage weird unskatable oddities.

Finally getting to see the kicks from Dill’s latest nine club. Sure adds fuel to the Adidas hate convo but this has obviously been in the works for a while

I was so hyped on these until I found out that story (about how Adidas is handling shops)... I always saw them as doing cool shit opposed to Nike SB that always has felt like the Red Bull of shoes, but now I can't get these and sleep at night. Bummer.

Not feeling the tech Vans.

The Berle was kind of a miss for me because of the rubber toe but when I see them in person they don't look that bad I guess. Just not a fan of skating with a rubber toe.

Rowan's are probably the only new shoe from Vans I'd consider skating as it's basically a low top cab.

Wish they'd do more seamless shoes like the collab they did with Noah
