Adio - either the 1st Kenny Anderson or the Jeremy Wray model (don’t think it was the 1st)

Emerica - Reynolds 1?

eS - accel

Dvs - Kerry Getz 1

Vans - Rowley is so much bigger than the China for the sheer number of years it was around in comparison.  Some of you guys gotta be fuckin stupid (or young) to think otherwise, not to mention the Rowley saved Vans back in the day.  They were becoming a mall shoe until Rowley left Airwalk for them and dropped that banger of a shoe.  Even the first XLT beats the Chima

I bet the first Rowley shits on the first Chima
[close]

I actually wouldn’t be surprised if it was. Old people eat Chimas up, fuck his new shoes been out a month or so and I’ve seen it on more none skaters than skaters.
[close]

You're underestimating the proliferation of the Rowley. It was fuckin everywhere. Billboards in Times Square everywhere. Also old people only buy a particular pair of shoes once. Skaters buy them every month.
Chima said in a Thrasher interview that his shoe was the number one selling shoe for Vans since it came out, so that has to be worth something. How long was the original Rowley shoe around for, anyways?

http://www.thrashermagazine.com/articles/chima-fergusons-propeller-interview/

Either way, the answer's probably half cabs.

Duffs - That one shoe they had
Puma - see "Duffs"
Halfcabs for pro models
Eras/old schools
Nike id say Janoski but maybe the dunk or blazer if that counts?
Adidas - Campus Vulc or Busenitz?
eS - i bought a pair of the pink/lepoard print first bloods so i want to say its them but probably accels or square 2's
Adio? i had bare of them as a kid but all their shoes look similar on reflection
Lakai - i dunno if the manchester or the staple has more?

I think it came out in 99 (that’s when Rowley got on) and was around at least a good six years and then was rereleased.  It was THE shoe to wear for a while.

No way the Chima is near the Rowley yet.  Back then Nike, Adidas, and Cons weren't a significant part of shoes sales.

Whoever said Adio, the Kenny 1 did sell like crazy, but don't forget about the Bam v2.  Those shits were everywhere at the time.

The correct answer is likely the Reynolds 3.

And Chima probably means best selling out of their Skate line.  No way that’s outselling slip-ons, authentics or any of those classics especially since sk8-his are super popular amongst tweens and teens at the moment

Bam V2 had to have been adios best seller, probably close to D3 numbers, I saw those shoes constantly in the wild around 2002-2004/5ish, I actually landed my first legit (non stationary, rolling) kickflip in that shoe.
Side note: I just looked it up and those shoes are selling for like $400 on eBay, weird seeing as there were so many pairs out there at one point in time.

What was that Savier shoe everyone had?

Pretty sure the most sold Vans shoe is the Old Skool
Adidas is definitely the Busenitz
Cons is probably the One Star

vans- old skool and/or half cab (sure I had 7 + pairs of Rowley 1s but they were only on sale for a total of 5 or so years)
air walk - ones or maybe the Jim shoe? The various latter versions of the NTSs (not the go ones) had a good run in Aus though
eS - would probably be Sal's first shoe if they didn't sell it under the etnies umbrella for a while there too. Accel is defs up there
emerica - One of Reynolds shoes (1st or 2nd?) but don't discount Ed or MJ's first shoes because either would probably come in a close second
duffs - strambolli or whatever it was called. Kareem's joints coming in a close second
dukes - the only one that mattered
adio - yes, probs one of bam's shoes but the chief had some good ones too. What about them Bryan sumner joints?
circa - the shoe that keeps them afloat (i.e. Lopez's shoe)
DVS - Gavin's Stan smith ripoff
DC - tis a hard one ... but yeah probably the ones that juggalos love

Impish sausage is definitely gonna blow up as a euphemism this year

Iirc Jeremy Wray said his 4th model was Adio's best seller of all time. But I'm willing to bet Kenny's first shoe was a close 2nd. I loved that shoe.

Yeas 'eS was the Sal 23, idk how Vans categorizes but the Rowley was one of their best selling strictly skate shoes when it was out, obviously the Half Cab has done some crazy numbers.

Emerica - Reynolds 1-3
Nike - Janoski low
Cons - Chucks
Huf - Classics
Vans - Era, Old Skool or Half Cab

vans - either the authentic or the old skool. so many fucking non skaters where black and white old skools. more then any other model imo.

huf - dylan or the choice? can't see cromer's shoe being there biggest seller.

dc - honestly its probably the court graffik or spartan high's, but could be an old shoe like the lynx maybe. unlikely though.

es - og accel easily.

emerica - reynolds 3's.

adidas - Bussenitz? every season they release like 5 colors of both vulc and cup, and its been around over 10 years now.

nike  - janoski of course.

converse - chuck's.

lakai - machesters, i think they have been consistently around the longest.

supra - skytop duh.

NB - some shoe with a 5 digit number.

entries - Marana? Or the puffy's with the big enties logo near the heel.

Adio - KA 2
Es - Accel
Etnies - Some version of the Low Cut - The Jameson.
Emerica - Reynolds 1-3
Nike - Janoski low - the SOLAR CHECK has sold double what the Janoski has. Solar Check is sold in 5000 more stores in the US than the Janoski ever was. Famous Footwear/DSW/JcPenneys...ETC. It has been around almost as long as the Janoski too
Cons - Chucks
Huf - Classics
Vans - Era, Old Skool or Half Cab - ATWOOD is the same story as the SOLAR CHECK
Circa - AL 50
DC - Something from Journey's or PacSun

The Dylan shoes actually sell out. The Classics hang around before they're put on sale for next to nothing in full size runs. And that's after they upped the production numbers on the Dylan shoes. I think the Classics sold quickly when they first dropped, and then everyone realized they were trash and now they're only purchased in small quantities by people who don't actually skate.
At least when you're a washed-out hipster douchebag in NY, you can milk it at some decent looking, hard to skate spots. In LA you're just a tan-lined faggot in a school yard somewhere.

Not sure about other brands but I’m pretty sure the slip on is the best selling vans shoe. The black and white checkerboard one.
