USELESS WOODEN TOY BANTER / Re: Wtf is up with the nine club

I liked the new rewatching old video segments (Shorties and Toy Machine vids), watch Public Domain, Rubbish Heap, Shackle Me Not, Questionable and I would be down, but they would have to get more sponsors because the videos don't hit without the music. Blast the music at times, fuck the Youtube censors, and get paid by Powell, World, H-Street, and Plan B for reliving glory days, history, and skate nostalgia.

i think the show is profitable, just not as profitable as whole foods shopping tesla driving crob wants it to be

They do have a level of production value that’s always been  unnecessary for what they’re doing too. I respect it but they could easily cut costs on the equipment. I don’t see them ever really breaking past this point though. They’d have to extensively branch out of skating to go much further.
I think a big reason for them not being able to push it more in the skate industry is because even though they’ve all been sponsored they know jack shit about skating. Every show they say something completely wrong.

It says unleashed, but they, in fact, couldn't be more leashed.

USELESS WOODEN TOY BANTER / Re: Flip of woke

Sorry was my first video and I watched it religiously. Flip has been run into the ground since Really Sorry so nothing surprises me but it's a shame.

Sorry was the first VHS I copied when I borrowed it off a schoolmate. Watched that thing so much it wore out the tape.
Flip had some signs of not totally fading/ kooking it  after Really Sorry imo; Extremely sorry had moments of greatness and I actually enjoy the vid overall, Daveed got SOTY and put out some heavy shit, they got HeArto back. But then all that happened was Princess Daffodil showed some promise before deciding to only do 3 stall tricks a year and Matt Berger did that one sugarcane lol.

Edit : did Appleyard go back to Flip too?

I like to remember Stevie from the Chocolate Tour and when he was photoshopped as E.T. in the bicycle basket…..that’s about it.

Aw shit that ET photo, haven’t thought about that in so long.

That’s the best thing Stevie has been involved with in years.
