I have nothing to add but I got one as a freebie/something marked down to get to the free shipping threshold and use it to carry plastic bags to pick up my dogs poop on walks , so, the company at the very least did exist

Pretty sure it was an Oceanside company connected to the Rhoade brothers. Don't think rich fathers were involved, just that "cool guys" generated hype. Fannie packs were a weird blip in skate fashion that I never understood. Always made me think, "what drugs do you have in there that you don't want to put down?"
