Sam McKinley who does The Rita rips. Pretty sure Moth Drakula skates. Shredded Nerve rips too

Was about to post this.

Great stuff they all rip. Didn’t people theorize that Mckinlay is Deer Man, or at least one of the members of BAKU?

Mike Mckinlay is Deer Man I can’t remember the context but I DM’d him sometime ago regarding something with Deer Man and video games and he confirmed it’s him.

wow ginwoo's style is awful and seems to somehow be getting worse

This is a classic case of the growth spurt. Symptoms include stick-thin limbs growing at a pace that's impossible for the brain to keep up with and process properly, leading to a loss of control and power. Ginwoo is sticking to his pre-growth spurt technique for the moment, folding himself into a more and more awkward and graceless stance, but unfortunately that's a dead end street.

What he needs to do is obvious: a reboot and rewiring of his skate brain (plus a yearly update). There'll be certain doors closing forever in the process, but also new opportunities presenting themselves. I'm speaking from experience: I had to stop making a fool of myself trying manual combo's in 2003, but it's more than likely I'll be nollie flipping trash cans effortlessly cool in a couple of years.

I remember having quite a few Think 7.875-8, but I remember some hilariously odd all sizes like the 7.42 Kalis deck (or close) and loads of shit that was like 7.625785. But yah after 8 it was like reallllly wide, Indy's, and "large" wheels like 55's. I do remember the Shorty's team coming through and my friend asked Muska to ride his setup, Muska being a legend let him, and it was an 8 with absolutely rock solid Indy's.

That's actually when I got the idea to measure my decks and lots of the time all of those sizes were just 7.5 or 7.75. I learned to stop caring after a while, but I did catch on quickly that 7.75 trucks were more fun to skate. I did have a decent amount of Toy Machine fists decks with 7.75 Thunders I believe it was the Low Voltage model.

why are people acting like jkwon isn’t an open plaza in the middle of downtown la that has been skated for over 30 years now…? i didn’t know you could blow up a spot that’s been on my feed every single week for the last 10 years? we should all have respect though and leave it for the 45 year old filming half cab noseslides and fakie nosegrinds…

This. JKWON was in Video Days lol. Nobody owns spots unless they actually own the property.

Speaking of Burnett, did anyone else get the feeling that he's going through a midlife crisis after reading the features he wrote in the April 2024 issue (kf blunt HH16 cover)? I was never head-over-heels for Jake Phelps's editorial style, but I did like how he wrote from the perspective of being part of the crew he was with. Burnett has & still seems like an outsider looking in, and April's articles felt like he was very self-conscious about it.

King of the Ring semi finals tonight.

Gunther VS Jey

Here’s to hoping it’s Gunther at KOTR in Saudi Arabia but I am struggling to think it’d be him vs a new Bloodline member as opposed to Jey VS one of them with a Jimmy Uso return.

Krooked Evil Beamer Coupe 10.75”
Indy 215
Spitfire classic 97a 54mm
Bones Swiss
1/4” risers
Not too sure on the grip - it was the only 11” I could find and unbranded.

So much fun.

This thing looks so fun. I want one.
