His My Wars, Followed piece and interviews make him seem like a real nice person. And when it comes to big rail skating I somehow need to root for a guy to enjoy a part. Probably because my once in a lifetime 5 stair boardslide experience makes it hard to relate to guys killing themselves on 20 stair rails. So it either has to be kyle walker levels absurd or I have to be pulled in on an emotional level :D he managed to do both. If I ever get the chance I'll buy a board with his name on it

I see the Real Summer catalog is up, including the Real FULL 8.5 board as per pics / posts above, but also one new board shape in there, which reminds me a lot of the Dane 1 - the Nicole Hause shaped deck, as per pic below.

https://www.realskateboards.com/summer-2024/

9.75 x 31.56 with a 14.1 wheelbase.

isnt that the jim t shape?

Ha yeah, I thought it was a little familiar, more so than just a Dane 1...

I had a look and although I can't find the exact dimensions of some other older boards, I did see the Unity board in the same dimensions so it has been out before, most likely as a Jim or similar deck too.

9.75" Width x 31.56" Length

Real Jim Thiebaud Wrench Justice 9.75 x 32.25 with a 14.5 in wheelbase.
Assorted stains

Wasn't there a pink one too?

I have the Hot Butterknife deck but that is closer to the Gonz, 14.37 wheelbase.

Not anymore. By the time I receive my issue, two more have already come out. I hate walking into a store, seeing the new issue, and knowing I have to wait a month before mine arrives. That’s what pisses me off—I’m a subscriber, and everyone else gets theirs, but I have to wait. A subscriber should get it before the bookstore. I don’t have a skate shop around; if I did, I’d just get it from there when they dropped.

How strange. Im from Australia and usually they send me a month in advance, I got june in the mail already.

I miss being able to reliably get a selection of Soletech brands and others discounted at TK Maxx.

Must have bought about four pairs of Jameson’s for about £25 each.

Picked up a bright orange pair of Eldridge eS shoes for about £30 that became one of my fav shoes despite being a vulc sole.

In my earlier skate years I leaned heavily towards Emerica and then Supra- had plenty of variety of models from both brands.

But Nike have always been a consistent theme for me:
-E-cue’s, Red FC’s, Multiple Janoskis, Tiempos and various other non-skate models.

Supra too: Multiple pairs of Skytop 1’s, Stacks, Hammers (one of my all time fav shoes), Ellington’s later model that looked like a Jordan, Vaider.

It’s always been about price to performance- and not once did I feel let down by the money I spent on Nikes - or Supra for that matter.

I want to say let it be if he’s found peace in his life, but this is coming off as even deeper delusions.
Someone close should reach out and try to convince him to seek physiological help.

I dealt with the same thing personally, my best friend got into new church group that basically tells women they gotta clean the house and never leave. Long story short, I really tried to help. My wife beat his ass and I can't hang with him anymore. He moved to Arizona to church compound, and then sent some legal thing for the fight. We're east coast also. Longer story quicker, he said skating is for people in mid life crisis?!?! Last week he emailed me and said they took all my money and I can't leave. I said, "don't pick fights you can't finish." My wife won and she wrote the commune leader directly. He basically Said I don't hate women, but I'm trying to run a business. He sent picture of infinity pool he has after he saw her on Facebook. Moral is just watch your shit and don't join new religions. Also my friend says they're is only the plentiful lake or something, not a pool.
