Anyone know the WB on the Deerman shape?

I’m not sure if all the Deerman boards are the same but I had one that was under 14 and it made me queasy.

Ah, now that I look at the other boards, the Deerman board I had with the 13 something wheelbase is now being sold as the Heroin x Royal deck.

anyone get ridiculous speed wobbles on the couch/loveseat shape? got pitched at 30 mph the other day on a hill i skate down everyday. its kinda bumming me out because i love the shape otherwise. just dont think i can handle sub 14 wb at speed.

any pals with similar experiences?

I havent...I actually find it really stable. Tbh, i havent gone at high speed but i feel pretty stable on it in general. I have thunders on it...not sure if it makes a difference.

Its probably my favourite deck in recent history...but the fact that i have stress cracks after 3 sessions isnt filling me with lots of confidence.

Hi everyone!
I'm new to all of this 9"+ board stuff. I've only had a madness 9.0 popsicle board with some 55aces. I sold both and bought venture 6.1s (I'm riding a 8.625 shaped board at the moment) and I'm thinking about buying a polar Dane1 board. Is the truck width good?
Btw in my country it is really hard to find these wide boards. I was only able to find a polar dane1 from the spring 2020 drop. Is it going to make a difference?  :-\ :-\

You can see here they're using Indy 159s, same size as the 6.1s.

Polar Boserio - Dane 1 shape
Indy 159
F4 53 101
Bones Swiss 6

Only got to spend a few minutes riding as spent most of my time chasing my 2 year old today but the short wheel base is fun so far, just need to get used to it.

I’ve had 6.1 on. The wb stretch was nice but still pretty short for me. But width wise the fit fine in the rear, front a bit hot rod. Wider wheels would help a bit. Think it’s just under 9” in the rear. 169 fit fine too (much better in front and didn’t poke noticeably in the rear at all)

I have my eye on the Street Baller 9.7. looks like the WB is adjustable, IG post says he'll be putting up specs soon, they've done so on some of the smaller width decks in other posts.

A friend moved out of state and handed me down an unknown handmade deck, after I split the nose and delaminates the tail this week I recut it and gave it some wheel wells.

9.75 x 30.5
15 wb 6.75 tail 5 nose
Really happy with how it feels now and it having a second life.

Running on 169s
54 f4 classics
Work of art, how did you do the wheel wells, some kind of power sander, carve them out? Whadya mean by delaminate the tail, just cutting off the razor tail?

does it make a difference (big vs small trucks)? I know that there will be a weight difference. After seeing all of this I'm kinda sad that I sold my 55s. And also is it still fun to skate it with 159s on? I think that 1991 shape would suit my trucks better and I'll wait and get used to big boards until I buy a dane1.

The 159s are fine on it. Good fit at tail, little bit magic carpet over the front but it’s good fun.

Finally got my 215 setup together

Anti Hero Old Yeller 9.9
Indy 215s
Spitfire Classics (kinda soft, off an old Zig Zagger complete)
1/4 inch risers
Need more bolts

Here's how it measures up against my Tired board.  9.6, 169 indys.

Cant wait to smash a few curbs on this thing

Honestly it kinda looks good the way it is. I always say once you put them in, never take them off unless you have to(regarding any nut, bearing, bushing, wheel etc) So you could add a couple fresh ones but leave the others in.

I'm just hoping I find the rest around the garage.

Man, this Ol' Yeller is a fun board, had a few rolls and it's like riding a boogie board.  I left the stock bushings in the Indys though and the trucks are staying pressed down after turning, and the bushings are kinda popping out of the seats.  Im sure they'll soften up but that's pretty weird.

Might pop some old rails on the sucker too

any wheelbite even w 1/4” risers? What size are the spits. Been riding 169 without risers and haven’t had any crazy issues eith 54mm wide wheels
