Saw someone post one of these last month in the set-up thread. They were on sale on skatewarehouse, so I picked one up when I was ordering some other shit.
Not a true cruiser (got hard ass wheels on it). Gonna use it to skate tranny and curbs.
Schmitt Stix Rip-saw reissue w/modern concave (10x30)
Stage 11 159's
99a 59mm Pig wheels
Ceramic Super Reds
Welcome Candy Bars (These rails are actually pretty decent in how they perform. Not too slippery and they have a good handle-like inlay on the inside. The screws they come with suck though and will either be loose or eat through the plastic when you try to get em tight. In the world of rails, I'd rate them above Pig, but maybe not as good as Powell. Plus when you originally install them, they have adhesive backs).
Should be using risers, but I hate being higher off the ground. I'd rather just run my trucks a bit tighter and deal with some rubbing. Actually, with the 159's, the front wheels stick out a good 1/4 inch, so I don't think they'll bite that hard.
