Swapped out trucks and wheels on my cruiser

Skaterbuilt conekiller 9 x 32.5
Independent ~~159~~ 139 92a khiro barrel bushings with 1/8 risers
~~66mm gravity burners 77a~~ 63mm 82a micro monster hawgs
Swiss super 6

Over time the 159s and 66mm began to feel a bit too big and heavy. Much nicer now with 139s and 63mm. More balanced and nimble.

Yeah, I was able to get away with 66mm and only 1/8 risers with wheel wells. Nice being low to the ground with such big wheels (avoiding huge risers is key)

All new everything except the bearings and bushings. All started from thinking of getting bigger and softer wheels for my cruiser, so the vibration won't fuck up the healing on my fractured leg and I can possibly go roll a bit earlier than I could otherwise.

25 euros for the wheels turned into a 250 euro order including the deck and trucks and a whole bunch of other stuff. Shoutout to BMCSteve for recommending the 159s instead of 169s. Seems like a perfect fit. From the pic it looks like the wheels stick out but actually they're pretty much flush.

Now I just gotta wait for spring and some sort of a permission from the doctor to go roll. Hopefully that will be sooner than later. But right now I have no idea when that might be. Gonna be months though I'm quite sure.

This is also my first shaped deck ever and a first purpose built cruiser. Previous cruisers were just old setups with softer wheels.

Thanks man. I'm pretty hyped on it also. I think it'll be a while longer before I can skate properly, but even just cruising down the street is awesome IMO. Setting it all up a few days ago didn't help my urge to go skate at all but instead made it a lot worse.

I also feel you on the urge to buy stuff you don't need. Especially now that I'm home all day doing nothing and thinking about skating way too much. Just gotta keep strong.

I have it like that on purpose. If I flip them they stick out on the other side and drag against the ledge a lil for nose/tailslides, they're soft rubber ones.

haha, slapped and non slapped. there's a ledge outside the building I usually study in at school and I'll skate it between classes sometimes. For a lot of non technical tricks it's close enough to a regular setup.

so whatre yalls experiences?

ive had an awful time with zip zinger wheels, but I love OJ3s and wanted something similar to that but more versatile
