Real Tommy Guerrero 9.2” x 31.875” with a 14” wb
Film 165’s no washers cut bushings
Spitfire f4 56mm 99a classics
Bronson G3’s
Spa Gear 7/8” allen hardware
Mob (no comply was outta pepper)

Shoes: puma smash

Unrelated to your (which looks fun), how are those puma's? I see that model on sale a lot and it looks like it would skate good.

IMO, for the price you’re not going to get a better shoe. Incredibly comfortable, break in fast, amazing heel lock, great board feel, and they look snazzy on the feet. $44 at the puma outlet
Well I have like 9 Andy Anderson dated flight decks.

I'm curious to try a true "pig" shaped deck that's a 10-incher with the classic no nose and little to no concave. I can't really afford to get trucks as well though, and I currently have Indy 159's. Anyone with experience on that type of shape know if they'll magic carpet way too much in the back? Seems like the front it would be fine.
[close]

they generally taper to a 9" tail. so theyre not crazy wide over the back truck.
back then trucks wern't as wide either. they used to run pretty small trucks with some mini cubics or whatever on em since those weels are offset as hell.

but, if youre looking at a powell pig be warned they use the oldschool bolt patern, so you'd need 6 hole baseplates.
anyo ther brand should be fine.
[close]

It's a Scram and I went and got it from the local today and ended up fucking hating it. Since it's so flat even with 1/4" risers the wheelbite is so bad it tossed me multiple times and then one time when I went to ollie my foot just slid right off the board and I almost credit carded myself. I barely lasted a session with it. Sometimes madness pays off when you wanna try something new, other times it doesn't.

i would drill that wheel base back at least an 1", it's 16"'s right?

picked this SC knox up last week. Set it up with Thunder 161 and some 56mm spitfire classics I've had for a few years. Concave is different. I like this for slappies, and oddly enough kick flips feel really great on it. Semi small wheelbase at 14.25 coupled with the thunders makes this board feel like an all-rounder.

I got it for the shape not for the name on the board. Great shape it seems from the limited 30 minute sesh I had on it. I really never paid attention to Knox though, so I have no clue about the personality.

Wheelbase is indeed 13.25 the turning is insane lol. I'm addicted to short wheelbases these days so I couldn't resist going this short. Yeah the nose definitely showed up slightly warped but not really to the point where it reaches the truck so I didn't really mind. Buddy of mine today mentioned every prime board he has had was warped upon arrival or warped quickly after riding or hanging on the wall, so it's interesting that they're still in business while being known for shit like that happening so often.

Same height and I'm imagining rolling over a crack while setting up for an Ollie with my heels touching...

Love that shape, wow, 13.25 is wild.

What a beast!!!

All the other Metal (Alien workshop / Habitat) boards are currently BBS, so I am guessing it is too, unless they did a specific board with someone else for the pig shape / style of board.

I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

I have some 1/2"ers on there. Woops.

Wheelbase feels good at 15" but the basically non existent nose is throwing me for a loop.

At this point, I could care less what graphic they put on it... As long as I can consistently get this shape I'm all good hahaha.

For sure, although some stains are a little off putting, but at least removing graphics or even spray over an obnoxious stain can help there.

More so my question is how the wheel wells line up and if you notice the difference, extra lean or room to move there?

no pic but I picked up a madness pelka blunt. I really like it so far, but the ace 66 with 58mm spitfire conical full makes the rear stick out a little which I do not like. I'll learn to live with it I guess. I'm thinking of snagging the Losi guest model since I do prefer a little more nose on a board. At this point I've just been looking at decks in the 9.5" and up range. My son has taken my loveseat as his own pretty much, and now when I step on it it feels small as can be. Variety being the spice of life, I'd like to be used to switching from a larger board to a smaller one and vice versa with as little getting used-to-it period as possible. What i lack in ability I can make up for with variety of deck excuses maybe.

Currently riding this shape and I've got real mixed feelings about it. Some days I can't even get a decent pop out of it and the whole session feels off, while other days it feels awesome. I've got a feeling that the smaller wheelbase is throwing me off, as I'm used to wheelbases around the 14.5 mark. Could be some other factors influencing my skating too, as I just moved to another city and I'm still looking for comfortable spots. I've been skating it for two months now, razored about 3 plies, so it's not like I'm still getting used to the shape. There have been sessions where I got frustrated to the point were I was seriously considering focusing it, something I've never felt before.
