I made salsa, then fried up some flour torts for ‘crack chips’. Gotta let the salsa sit overnight so everything blends together.

Been on a little Asian food crawl for the past couple days, trying things I’ve always wanted to but never had.

First, I got a gochujang chicken bahn mi sandwich yesterday. Perfectly toasted baguette, pickled carrots/daikon, citrus mayo. 10/10 would buy again.

Next, went and got a Korean rice hot dog. Basically a massive corn dog with a crispy coating, half filled with mozzarella, with ketchup and spicy mayo on top. 8/10 would def go back and try a different one.

Lastly, just got chicken pad Thai from Thai Express for lunch. Kinda sucks, not half as good as the other things but twice as expensive. 3/10 will never buy again.

Got lucky today and supermarket actually had food. (Unless the whole no food in Aus thing was just a big scheme to get everyone to buy a bunch of overpriced stuff) got some salmon but it was a weird narrow cut. I only have an old frying pan so I took a chance and put it in a cake tray thing with some olive oil, pepper and pink salt and put it in the oven. Also made roast carrot, pumpkin and potato all was pretty decent.

Cold noodles with chili oil from one of the only legit Chinese places that I know of in my area. So good. I got the sesame noodles yesterday and they were awesome as well.

Just got one of those Subway crispy chicken sidekicks sandwiches, and aside from being cold and soggy, the chicken had a massive piece of cartilage in the middle making the whole thing inedible.
