I don't think its SC. I don't know 100% for sure since I haven't actually had one in my hands yet but I've never seen an SC deck with a custom sticker on the deck itself rather than on the plastic wrap and every SC deck I've owned has "Made in the USA" on the top because I believe they do top prints for free if you put that on there. Also thats usually a selling point for SC decks, so I'd expect them to mention they were US made if it were the case.

From the pictures I've seen I'm guessing its either chinese or BBS... I've seen custom BBS stickers like the one in the maxallure pictures and it has the little alignment divot in the middle of the top truck holes. That isn't unique to bbs but combined with the sticker and just the general look of the wood that would be my guess.

Asked on IG if they could do a 8.75” deck instead of the options listed .. boxes went up to 8.5” but have 8.75” listed on site for same price so figured it was worth a shot

I did some investigative reporting on site at my local skate shop today and after an exhaustive search this is what I discovered. I don't think its BBS either. I'm not sure what company it is but it has a weird size sticker aligned in the bottom truck holes. However, I found a clue that could break the case WIDE OPEN.

In the bargain bin, I found another deck with the same mysterious sticker. That deck was.... a Consolidated fists deck. So it would appear that the Maxallure decks are the same woodshop that does Consolidated, whoever the fuck that is.

Yeah it was actually kind of an accident. I looked at the Maxallure's and measured some of them but no one in the shop had any idea what wood it was, but I always dig through the bargain bin because one time I got an 8.25 Flight deck there for $40 because it was out of the plastic and scratched up pretty good. Just took a black paint marker and filled in the scratches and you could barely tell it was ever scratched. It was actually kind of an accident that I even noticed it, I wasn't interested in the consolidated deck but I had to move it to get the one I wanted to look at out of the rack and I just so happened to sit it down with the top up and noticed that it had the same sticker.

How are the Kalis Lite SE? I'm worried about getting squeezed in the toe area. Last DC shoe I bought a few years ago looked similar in design and were way to tight and pointy in toe area.

Shoes are comfy but would recommend you to go up a half size for sure. How the toe overlaps on the inside was also uncomfortable to me. Perhaps with a larger size they'd feel great.

I have the Penzas and they do suck. They fit true to size. I really like the maswells and figured they would be similar but they ain’t!!! Assumed they would be a decent cheaper shoe but I would recommend the legacy slim, kalis lite or maswell way before the Penza
