Might be an unpopular opinion but i wish heroin did more asymmetric eggs. I loved the original curb killer egg, but twin kicks don’t appeal to me too much.
Are the kicks more twin tails, twin noses or somewhere in between?
I had seen a few normal eggs and the tail was a tad too small for my liking, but some of the twin nose lengths seemed way more manageable, but that is just me.
Guessing as per the fried egg above, a 6.25 tail is just too short for some people, but having a 7" kick at both ends can also be a deal breaker too.
At least a longer kick can be machined down to work well enough as I have done in the past with some boards, compared to a shorter kick which can only be drilled in or baseplate redrilled to make it work (also done this too) with mixed results.
What constitutes a good length nose and good length tail, or is there a compromise where some twins can work well enough for everyone?
I know the standard for noses is about 6.9 to 7.1" and tails is about 6.5 to 6.75" on regular boards anyway.
