This is sad to see, but his declining mental health is no doubt a product (whether directly or indirectly) of a once fantastic skateboarder continuing to make a series of poor lifestyle choices and refusing to give up the 'Piss Drunx' mentality at 42 years old. Sure, the injuries he has sustained directly as a result of skateboarding probably haven't helped, but I am certain that the alcohol & cigarettes have been the driving factor in destroying his body and mind, making him look like he is ten years older than he actually is and totally wrecking any sense of balance, coordination and athleticism that he once had. Anyone who says otherwise is in complete denial or still living the piss drunx lifestyle themselves.

Vans have (unsurprisingly) dropped his lazy ass. No longer on any of the team pages (fr, euro or us). He was a great skater ten years ago. It's honestly a shame he never capitalised on the countless opportunities he's had to get clean and be sober. In the last five years he has been earning money from his sponsors for doing literally nothing. All his recent appearances in clips have just been him in the background yelling out something indecipherable while holding a can of beer in his hand and smoking a dart. It was funny the first few times, now it's just sad. Surprised Vans held on as long as they did, probably felt some sense of obligation or loyalty to him, even though in terms of a business contract he was giving nothing back to them in return.

He needs to stop basking in his past success and trying to relive his glory days.

I wish him the best and hope he can turn his life around, but I have very little sympathy for him at this point.

I'm confused by your statements, Dollin is still on the team page in the United States, am I missing something:

That is the canadian team page and they also still have Justin Henry listed so it hasn't been updated.

Thanks for pointing out my glaring errors.

I personally don't want to see Dustin move away from skateboarding...I know Vans let him go. But I could see him as a Brand Ambassador for Vans Australia--he just fits the image so well.

When I think of Dustin I immediately think of Vans. Especially that sick add he had in China (or maybe it was Hong Kong) in the early aughts. That Big back 50-50 he did on that round silver rail against the wall. I believe it was for his own signature shoes, but I could be wrong...maybe someone will unearth the photo and footage because I can't seem to find it.

I'm pretty sure he was wearing these:

I’m pretty certain the back 50 you’re looking for is in Artos part in Sorry.

could be that big kf 50 he does at the end of baker 3. I feel like he has grinded the rail next to the wall at that same set too. think it was a krooked, but i can't find it.
In 5 years skateboarding will be dirtbiking

The kickflip 50 ender is the Country Road rail. There was never an ad of, just a b&w sequence in a mag. I think there may of been an ad for his fs heel though.
He didn't grind the rail on the wall there but has done a few other bs 50s on wall rails over the years- the one in Sorry and also the Parliament 10 rail seen here in On Video around the 1.30 mark

Jorts
Anklets
Rat tails
Sling shots
Toe rings
Shuv it tail grabs
Jump ramps

Never seen this Dustin section before, thanks Owen!

He always had a unique way of doing varial heels; almost mobbed, very cool.

Hope he is doing ok, glad to see him with his dog. I've tremendous respect for his skating and the edits he did.

Nearly every flip trick looked hideous, but I kinda love it.
Do you get deja vu, huh?

This is how you go out when you don’t have a plan after your skate career is (finally) over.
