Deedz 8.375 football

This set up is perfect. I got a razor egg last month which is awesome but just too different than what I usually skate. This thing felt great right off the bat.

What trucks/wheels are you running? 5.6 high? I had mine on 5.2 hollow lows for a long time but recently swapped to Ace 03. I like them but I think I might go back to the ventures.

Wheels I was initially running some old F4 conicals that started as 53 but are around 50mm which is pretty ideal, but I picked up a set of 52mm (actually 51.5mm) NFG teardrops with the aces so I switched over to those and really like the way a thinner wheel feels  on it.

Also if you ever want to try a skinnier version the blind Brian Lotti showgirls reissue is the exact same in every way except its 8.12 at the widest (7.75 at front trucks and 7.5 at the back). I also saw one of the new almost decks has the same dimensions (8.375 x 32.6 14.2wb) but I'm not sure if it's a football or popsicle.

I just set one up.

It  has the Generator Made In Mexico/warning sticker.

I hope AH do another run of the Cardiel 9.18. Love that shape for when I'm feeling the need for a longer WB.

Anyone on here with one of these? What is the width over the front and rear axles?

can a pal measure the length of the villani egg tip to tip without the tape pressed?
while cool-guying is a real phenomenon, studies show that 83% of all cool-guying incidents can be attributed to the cool-guyee being an awkward weirdo

AH Cards 9.18": 149s, 159s, 55s. the 159s were the best.
Girl Loveseat 9": 149s, 44s. Preferred the 44s but I know thats to skinny for some.
Enjoi Thaynan 8.75": never set it up but was ready to pair it with 44s. Would have been good.

Either 159s or 55s. Primarily just 55s

Generally speaking I like to use trucks that are about 1/4"+ narrower than the egg at its widest.

I have used 151s on the Phawt and Cardiel 9.18 and Crailtap 9.25
44s on the Chico (not really and egg but similar concept) ,Brown Bomber 8.8  and on the new 8.8 Creature Jay Howell.

I had a 8.5 egg but I think the tails and the nose were like 7.5, I felt like I had no room to land.

I’m terrified of that 8.7 soft boiled egg for that reason.

I do however wanna grab it for my buddy, who is a big dude but likes tiny 7.75 boards. Wanna transition him over to bigger boards somehow.

Space Egg FTW for me

Anyone skated the Franky Villani shape with Venture 5.8s? I know Franky himself skates 151s on it but I don't really wanna buy a new set of trucks and jump up a size. I'm skating the Girl Loveseat with 5.8s right now

I'm into it. I've got it set up with 53mm Conical Fulls as well and couldn't be happier with how it feels. With that said, I haven't tried it on wider trucks, or any other trucks for that matter so i'm not sure how it'd compare with anything else.

Setup the Deedz 8.375" football on my Indy 144s w/ Spit 48mms. As expected, the rear truck is hair wide when you look at the board straight behind the tail, but undetectable from above. Front truck fit is great IMO.

Sometimes I think I post too much, and it is never a race to me to get something up first, but I am more stoked on people getting to see some amazing things like this, as you said the top views especially which show the shapes so much better.

I noticed the space egg has the razor top (from comments first) but can really see the difference on the grip pic on my big screen / zoom in on it.  Someone was asking about it in another thread.

sometimes long winded but that pic is certainly worth posting in an egg thread! And I love the cracked egg grip on the golden egg. Would love to try the space and gold back to back. Both with 169. Seems like the owner is waiting on 215’s for the golden based on comments.

Feel like my entire size 13 shoe would get worn from the size of the 10” golden egg haha
