Just in case people didn't see this in the wide board short wheelbase thread.

There is a new one from Antihero, looks like a scaled down version of the Cardiel shape (egg)

8.75 x 31.5 with a 14.25 wheelbase, the Gerwer Grimplestix board.

https://www.antiheroskateboards.com/

https://www.antiheroskateboards.com/spring21/ah-2021-spring1-del1-04-updated.jpg

I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

Just picked the soft boiled up, 14.5 is pretty accurate

Also wanted to make it as egg-y as possible

I know it’s been posted a ton of times I’m just too lazy to go back and look.
The soft boiled is calling me. What size trucks would you guys recommend?

Indy 144 seems to be a great fit here, the board is about 8.25-8.3 over the bolts. You could prob get away with 149s if you don’t mind a lil hot rodding.

That’s what I thought too. Anti hero has been using that template for their 8.75 gerwer grimples for about a year and a half.
Well I have like 9 Andy Anderson dated flight decks.

Alright. After lurking for a while I pulled the trigger. Well bullied my wife into buying me an egg for Valentine’s Day.  I must say, this might be the perfect shape.

FOS - I know you lurk here every now and then but goddamn you’re brilliant. Shape is perfect and for the love of god thank you for keeping a shorter wheel base in the line 14.125/14.25 is perfect. 14.5 feels like a boat to me. Also the razor top is brilliant too. Love it.

I think I’m a believer.

Heroin “Eraseregg” 8.9X31.5 14.125 WB
The “razor top” feels so good (rounded bottom side wall and sharp top)
Indy 159 usa plates stock bushings
Indy hardware
Spit F4 Conical 53s
Swiss
Mob

Wafools what’s the axle to axle WB with the Indys?

Heroin Space Egg 9.4 x 14.5
Indy 169 stock
old 42mm wheels, probably Pig or SF
Jessup
Random bearings & hardware

Will probably switch to SF CF 53mm 99a once the small wheel charm wears off. Not crazy on razortop, gonna sand the edge down a bit before I catch a shinner. Felt weird gripping a board with a sharp top.

Looks like my pics exaggerate the shape a tad but you get the gist

looks sick and the 169s fit well. Right around 9” at the truck bolts? Those wheels are nuts, interested to see it with 53’s. Report back

posted in the 9”+ thread. Got good reviews. 35th apparently carried them for a bit. Not sure where else you’d get in US. Dims below

6.75" nose, 14.5" wheelbase, 6.75" tail, 32.5" length.

Thanks for the info, I'm based in Europe so even if I have to pay taxes, it's still easy to get stuff from UK.

I would prefer a shorter WB but's really hard to get any Heroin Egg online in Europe. Super limited stocks and shops usually don't put them online.

digging all these egg shapes. honestly can’t wait for that heroin 7.9”. might be my first heroin board, as well as my first egg shape. 🥚🍳
This has me cracking up, what exactly does Black Flag have to do with measuring your dick starting behind ya nuts?

Skateboarding is nothing but a game to find the right fits to appear like you're a proportional human being instead of a midget or a giant.

been looking for an egg that i can use with 159's.

i've been thinking about getting that chocolate couch shape, drilling the nose to be shorter and using that as the tail. drilling a board seems easy in theory but maybe hard in practice. like how do i get the thing to stay completely still?

can attest to it, just set mine up with 6.1s today and its super flush
while cool-guying is a real phenomenon, studies show that 83% of all cool-guying incidents can be attributed to the cool-guyee being an awkward weirdo
