So good!

It would be interesting to hear the differences between the two in skating them.  I know you have had the Huffer shape before, but that Blind board is quite a bit smaller isn't it?

I’m gripping and skating the blind this Sunday, so I will tell you how it skated as soon as I can!

The blind board is actually little bit bigger! The listed dims on the blind state it’s a 9.4” with a wb of 14.25”. However, the wheelbase measures exactly 14.5” and has steeper kicks than both the huffer and the Reuter.

Ha yeah that is a plus then.

I know many people are not happy with their differences in board size, but for once, this might be better than what was listed.

damn wanted to grab one of those curb killers but shipping rate is absurd

i had a problem on the shipping rates being ridicilous expensive after i added griptape. shipping cost went 5x more..seems the online system thinks the griptape is 1 whole board.so i DM them, he rectify it, and add in the Eggxorcist board, the free grip and Heroin socks with a little extra shipping fee. shop owner seems like a good fella. that's when he told me bout the Eggxorcist board. i think he already post it on the online store..

Heroin needs to quit being so stingy with their love. I’m not putting in the time to hunt one down or giving in to FOMO.

Get the 9.75", much easier to find and arguably the better shape. Maybe it’s just me but if any shape makes more sense symmetrically, it’s the egg.

i have a Curb Killer and i wish i could get the 9.75 cause the wheelbase on that is actually better for me. big boards with short wheelbase are the best. but it isnt going to be easy getting one here in Europe. i already know my countries distribution didn't order any of them..

i have a feeling next season Heroin will be pretty generous so be ready.

I can say that the Sora Blind boards are one of the funnest shapes I’ve ridden in ages. Every skate has been so good. I thought the tail might have been more rounder but I’m glad it’s the way it is.

I gotta say, that shape is very different from how it appears in the catalog! Mainly the tail, as you point out

I thought it was gonna be full football round shape from the internet pics. I was bummed. Then I set it up! I don’t think I’d change it now.

Anyone try the thaynan enjoi shape? 8.75 football?

Very alluring. Any egg/football with 14.125-14.25 piques my attention. I know visit and forgotten offer the clutch football shapes which look good. AD skateboards also has two shapes, almost the same but one has 13.8 wheelbase and one has 14.25. I think both the AD and clutch decks measure out somewhere between 31.8” to 32.25” lengthwise; Any other companies use this?

After giving up on finding a Curb Killer I bought two of the 9.75" Symmetrical Eggs from a link someone posted here. I haven't even skated it but am already in love. Found a good deal on a set of 169 Tis and couldn't resist getting them for this board.

Heroin 9.75" Symmetrical Egg
Independent 169 Titanium with Riptide Krank 93A bushings and WFB pivot cups
Spitfire F4 Classics 99A 52mm down to around 50mm
Bronson G3 (had them on my bowl setup for a year and they are still going strong)
Independent hardware

sweet setup..

Thanks! First session down and I am really impressed by this shape. Everything about it feels just right and not having to think about board orientation weirdly refreshing. It flips surprisingly well for such a wide board, too.

May not be everyone's cup of tea, but Corey Duffel is dropping a 8.6 football shape tomorrow with his company, Adored. I'm a huge Duffel and Smiths fan, so I might have to pick up one of these.

Copped the Quasi egg. Here's the detailed measurements for the culture

WIDTH: 9"
LENGTH: 31.75"
WB: 13.75"
WIDTH (FRONT TRUCK): 8.625"
WIDTH (BACK TRUCK): 8.5"
LENGTH (NOSE): 7.25"
LENGTH (TAIL): 6.875"

For my brother, off, the concave is steep, and it's got the mellowest tail and steepest nose that I've seen. Tail kinda seems like a craig board, but the nose is steeper than the hockey I'm riding right now. I think my fat ass just flattened that a little bit though.

thank you for this info!  Had the deck in my cart for the past couple days, but just hit that delete button based on this.

Thanks mate, appreciate that. They re-stock at Baker Boys later this week, and to stores probably the week after.
Got four eggs coming out in Spring (Feb 2022 drop) two are brand new symmetrical shapes! They're on the pre order forms that are going out to stores now.
