Good. They deserve it for creating the huf classic. That bullshit, narrow, thin shoe. I hate it. It has less support than an argument for using coal as anything other than a means of painting cave walls in the current millennia. It's like somebody took the already shit converse chuck Taylor to a manufacturer and simply said "make this, but lower quality and uglier"

huf used to be really good but then they expanded too fast and had one too many mediocre seasons and squandered whatever cred they had on weed socks. they kinda got lucky with getting dylan but with him passing away it really killed the program. he was the most notable face for the brand besides huf himself and more importantly, none of the other riders really seem like they care as much as he did about how things should look or how things should be presented.

How the hell did this reach six pages despite there being no evidence of the company closing?

company is still there, and will be for many years. skate team is no longer at the end of 2019. this is 100% true. not sure when they'll announce it.

Huf is focusing on the bread and butter, weed socks. Not a lot of people skateboard, a lot of people enjoy cannabis. Idiots

if they really are being cut, that's super, super shitty management. cromer has talked about the cromer 2 coming out next year, and austyn has been talking about how they have been designing the gillete 2 for late next year.

i've worked at companies that closed down. it's never unexpected. you're never planning a full calendar year ahead while also knowing you're closing down in 2 weeks, especially when it's apparel/footwear.

i don’t think any of you are real, i think slap was invented by my mom to make me think people want to talk to me

I mean, it’s not like we didn’t see it coming. That one at least was an actually shitty brand and it makes me more happy than sad to see them go away. Huf disappearing, on the other hand, makes me sad.

I thought Nick Tucker's shoe being produced but barely released, Jamie Foy getting the fuck out of there ASAP, and Chris Cole not moving past flow were signs of success?

it's been all over their respective instagrams. cromer mentioned something about skating a cromer 2 prototype not long ago.

I picture TPuds as the face of Saucony Skateboarding. Teddy bear, red Bull pom pom, Looooong tail/boardslides in Saucony runners. Fully kitted fam.

I skated some Saucony Hangtimes 11 or 12 years ago. They were sick. Also Pat Washington I think was sponsored buy Saucony for a bit. No Red Bull pom pom though.
