35 here. I had a serious back injury at 32. Couldn’t skate for about five months, and then it was just cruising for another few months. After I got over all of that, I have some pretty big mental and physical blocks. Speed is a big issue sometimes, fully mental, and I can usually work through that. My pop is fucked. I’m not “springy” anymore. Even with yoga and exercise I still can’t Ollie more than a curb. It gets frustrating, but I find what works and go for it. Curbs, wallrides, tranny.
