Thanks. I love the v-lights...longer wheelbase and slightly lower than Indy 149s (I'm pretty tall so I'm very into that). I like how Indys turn more, but Ventures are still surfy enough for me. They're also a lot lighter, though to be fair I've only skated the standard 149.

I really wish they would just keep the Mike Hill diorama graphics coming. I was saving this but couldn't help myself. The 8.5 AWS shape is perfect IMO.

Thanks! Just a transfer, not a slick. Though now that Alien is uses BBS I wish they would...I've heard the ones that they've been doing for DLX rule.

Heavier, duller, feels like you're skating a plastic cutting board. I got a couple of Carpet Co boards recently and didn't realize one of them was dipped so I guess it'll go on the wall?

100%. Cannot stand dipped boards for function or fashion. I got a homie who's favorite boards are Mystery dipped ones, but he kinda has horrible taste in a lot of things. I'd be embarrassed to own one of those decks with the heart/lightning bolt thing. Like, I'm delivering my girlfriend's board to her at Hot Topic.

The few times I've found myself stuck with a dipped board, it always gave me the feeling I was riding a fake ass plastic board from the supermarket. No matter how good the wood supposedly is, to me dipped decks look like toys rather than what a skateboard deck is supposed to look like, which already fucks with my head then as soon as you start getting small dents on the side the wood gets exposed and it starts looking even worse. Pop doesn't feel as strong although that has to be purely in my head. Shit just sucks

I love my full dip FA I’m currently skating. Doesn’t feel dull at all. It does feel a little heavy but I don’t think that’s because of the dip.
Man the long board truck thing killed indy for me. I was willing to set aside the racism, but long boarding, gtfo... - DH

The graphic is from like 1990 so the guy from that movie is the bootleg.

AWS 8.5 is fast becoming my favorite. 8.5x32.25, 14.25 WB. Nice big nose and tail, not too pointy or squared off.

Yeah but I googled "groot" and he wasn't in the guardians of the galaxy until 2008

Ok so they made him in the fucking 60s. You win.

I was eyeing the 8.5 a while back as it had a more squareish vibe.
