You should have said it was Gonz painted it and made a decent buck on ebay. Just kidding, looks sick. I need to ask my godson who is also 4 to do a crayon job on my grip.

Nice. I put together a board for my friend's 4 year old and painted the bottom of the deck with a chalkboard surface spray paint and he drew all over the griptape too.

@shpongle nice. I built a board for my friend's 4 year old from an old Toy Machine cruiser I found in the trash. It was basically fine except one of the wheels was cored like an apple, the aftermarket bushings in it were upside-down and blown out, and it had toy graffiti all over the underside and grip. The trucks were Indy 149 Stage Xs so I just replaced the busted aftermarkets with my own bones bushings and got some old wheels from a friend. I sanded, re-gripped, and spray painted the bottom with Krylon chalkboard surface spray so he could draw on it and make his own kid graphics - so he decided to color in the entire new grip job with sidewalk chalk. Ha. I had written down all the board specs and then promptly lost them so that's that.

Gangemi Orchard deck 8.1 14"wb M1 black magic grip
Venture 5.2 with supercush greens
Spitfire f4 classics 53 mm shrinked down to 50mm. Small and wide. Also two washers inside of the wheels. Pushout the wheels to be closer to flush with the deck.
Swiss six
Diamond hardware.

I tried the deck first with indy mids 144. Did not work on the 14" wb. The board felt off but went back to old faithful , venture lows, and fuck does it feel nice.
My indy mids feel great on DOA flat though.

And i seem to skate way better in shelltoes.  Pro models and puffy tongue superstars only though. Hate that thin tongue "80s" superstars.. So unstable.

Thanks. This set up is one of my favorites because of Robbie Gangemi. Saw a clip of him recently. Bs smiths still as beautiful as the 90s.

+1 nice setup.

lets get those wheels seasoned with curry powder, so close to matching the graphic :-\
while cool-guying is a real phenomenon, studies show that 83% of all cool-guying incidents can be attributed to the cool-guyee being an awkward weirdo

Totally a win from me (as in that is what I ride) but yeah, just such a good size, shape, same trucks, wheels, etc too.

Gone since 1988.  I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

WKND 8.25CT
Venture 5.6 standard (shout out to iusedtoskatemore)
Bop Shop 52mm wheels
Pusher bearings
Bop Shop grip

Went to check out Radio (owner of scumco's new shop) for the first time and this caught my eye because it's one of the new wknd shapes - 8.25" x 31.25" with a 14" wb. Concave is on the mellow side of medium and kicks aren't very steep so it seemed like something I'd like. Interested to find out how it skates but of course we have a snow storm rolling through today so I'm going to be limited to screwing around in the basement.

Radio is a really awesome little shop. They took over when overcast closed and have a really good board wall and shoe selection, lots of smaller brands. Definitely worth checking out if you're passing through Pittsburgh or looking for a core shop to order online from. Also they should have the new line of PS stix Scumco boards next week, there's some really awesome graphics in this run and if it's the same as the last run there'll be like 6 different shapes, so something for everyone.
