i know this is an old board but does anyone know what the people are saying on this board, cow says "fucking tourists" ?

That was actually a pretty cool trip down memory lane, board from 2015.

Google Frankonia and go to images for more pics of the deck, but the words are:

The hikers say "Oh cool...  Check it out honey"

The two headed cow thinks "Fucking tourists"
I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

Anyone with venture hollow 5.6 have a favorite 8.25 deck shape/WB? Love quasi but the 14.25 WB gets pushed out an extra 3.4 inches with the hollows which is a bit much. Thinking an 8.18 fa/hockey with 14 WB would potentially be nice, as the 8.25 are 14.125 WB. Can’t really find any squared off 14 WB shapes looking online unfortunately.

Not a fan of clear grip, but your application of it on this deck is superb. Color combos are perfect.
Nor I, typically.
This was the first time I’ve used it since, oh... 1986? All I recall about the last time was that I used it on a blank Santa Cruz Kieth Meek “Slasher” model & the grip was that 20 grit, extra chunky shit.
Fast forward to present day: I got hooked up with one of those Mob “travel packs” a little while ago & decided to see if I couldn’t use it in a non-offensive way.
Thank you for the nice words.

I wanna play you in a game of SKATE for the right to continue talking shit on me.  You think you got me?

This has me cracking up, what exactly does Black Flag have to do with measuring your dick starting behind ya nuts?

Skateboarding is nothing but a game to find the right fits to appear like you're a proportional human being instead of a midget or a giant.

FA/Hockey 8.18 with 14” WB works great on Venture 5.6 hollow. I’m on an 8.25 Quasi (Josh Wilson pro model, a bit more rounded than square shape) with 5.6 and it’s ok. Good for flip tricks and manuals, not so much for transition but it works

Perfect thanks, I ordered an 8.18 FA figuring it would be a good fit plus I’m used to the ps stix with concave width measurement vs FA BBS so the 8.18 may actually feel wider. My quasi 8.25 measures like 8.13 straight across. Figuring that the 14 WB will offset the venture hollow WB extension to help on flip tricks a bit more.

Never thought I'd buy wheels smaller than 54mm ever again but I was not sure to do with this impulse buy Creature... Seemed only right to set up an early 90s inspired rig. Could not go lower than 50mm though... (pic makes them look way bigger)

8.8" with 14" WB
146s Stage 8 Indys (upgraded with 88a Indy bushings and Krux DL kingpin)

Looks so sick, I have a set of those wheels on ice. 51mm tablets were the best small wheel I've ever skated. Also v jealous of the 146s.

Yeah, there is a lot of exposed axle and given that I'm hoping this set up will help me relearn some flip tricks I am a bit concerned about axle slip b/c I suck at flatground.

Ok

I wonder if spacers and the max amount of washers would help? Axle slip was so prevalent back then, for me, particularly with indys.
I’d like to find 136s, but haven’t come up.

Ace 44s
Spitfire 52mm tablets

really loving these tablets.  i think these are gonna be my go-to for a while

kinda feeling like going a little smaller than 8.25, but have got a few more blanks to get through first.  Anyone use Ace 44s with an 8.1 or should i go with 33s?

Looks clean!

The 44s are wider than 8.25 but the 33s are more narrow than 8.1 so it might be best to stick with the 44s you have and see how that goes first, maybe try one deck and see, but the 8.1 is going to be 2mm on either side less than what you have currently.  Length and wheelbase might be less too though, not to give you too much info.

I was waiting to see if anyone else would ask about the one coloured wheel, but it seems no one did.

Buy four sets (three plain and one coloured set) and sub out the coloured wheel as per Lance Mountain or Jeff Grosso sets?

Funny cause I would do the opposite, buy four sets of the same and pull out the set of coloured wheels as their own set.

Idk how people do stickers of one company and ride another. You do you but vans sticker with nikes on would drive me crazy. Which is why i never put shoe brand stickers on boards so I can swap shoes in peace.
