Anyone know if there is a smaller B16? 8.25? but the same shape?

I can't seem to find an 8.25" that doesn't feel super 'straight', I guess a really round 8.25? Is that even possible? :P

There's an 8.25 x 31.875 which is the length of the B16 just smaller width size with the OG concave. I'm assuming its the same kind of shape just slightly smaller.

Because when your setup with 149 Indy TiTs and 54 conicals feels great, you throw a fucking wrench in that bitch and see what happens.

i dont think this deserves its own thread:
im applying rails for the first time, but it all fucked up. when i try to screw in the screws, the board kind of frays, like plywood tends to do. this prevents me from getting the rail all the way down. what do? and can i use the same holes again?

the way i have put rails on in the past is I lay the board graphic side up on the floor, and then use my body weight to screw in the screws. I start from the middle and work out. screw in maybe 2 turns or just enough for the wood to bite on each rail, and then once you have all of them started, you can go back and fully screw them down. make sure not to strip them or thread them, stop when you feel like you cant go any further. the key is your weight. i use just a phillips screw driver since a drill can fuck it up with too much torque. like i said, if you use your body weight as downward force you'll be good

well i did it more or less... i had to screw them all the way down, then take them back out, cut of the splinters and frayed wood, and screw them back in.

I haven't actually done this but I feel like a good way would be to get some permanent double sided backing tape, like the 3M foam shit, and throw that under your rails, then screw them in, that way it's 1) not as much stress on the board and 2) keeps shit in place if screws happen to fall out

When i ever got rattling, id take the screw back out, put a drop of glue in the hole and it would stop. Might wanna look at that, the glue doesnt really fuck up the thread of the screw so changing them over isnt much of a hassle either

I cracked the top ply on a Hockey a lil while ago so I had to go to back to using the Welcome, which I wanted to retire because of the nose. Well, this happened today:

It has a good amount of concave, not flat at all but not as steep as a scumco deep dish. I posted a top pic a few pages back and you can see how long and full the nose and tail are.

I'm on a Polar kick right now. Love the shorter lengths. I picked up that same board but the 8.25x31.75 from skate warehouse. And like four other ones in the same size. A+

What are the dimensions like on the deck? I had a $lave 8.5 and loved the nose and tail but it was a tad long on wheelbase for me, I think it was a 14.75.

Sweet setup though man!

Nice! I'm setting up the same deck right now, except with 169's. I skated a similar shaped Tired deck into dust with 169's (a tapered 9.25), and even though the trucks stuck out a bit in the the back it always felt better than using a smaller truck, especially for manuals.
