What’s the wheelbase on that pup?

Trying a few new things on this one

Habitat 8.375, First BBS board in at least 10 years
149s with bones meds, riptide pivots
50 something conical fulls with Swiss
Trying jessup for the first time because I couldn’t be bothered to go get Mob fuck Jessup
Theeve bolts

I was really into the shape of the PS Stix run habitat I hope the BBS one is roughly the same shape
Being 32.75 sounded really long but it’s really great

Nah, i use a hand sander with a couple passes going finer and finer, learned that technique from user on here sweatercuff/idealhandmades

Being the sticker nerd I am, i found a guy who bought the TOA sticker packs and split them up and sold the stickers individually.

Creature Partanen 8.375
Thunder 149 - soft indy bushing on top, stock thunder on bottom
55mm Spitfire F4 Lock-ins
Cheapshots

I know it’s a sort of corny graphic but it was a good deal and I like the shape.
The Girl board I had before this had way too short and mellow kicks for my taste, but there’s no way of knowing what you like without trying right?

Really like this graphic series from Chocolate. How long have those bronson's lasted you? Might have to replace some old swiss, but not sure I wanna spend the forty bucks. Not until I buy some more wood.

3 months in now and going strong. I don’t really get the Bronson hate on here. I know their marketing is kinda over the top but this is my second set of g3’s and I’m a big fan of them. Last ones I had I ran for over a year with no maintenance so I think they’re worth the $26.

My Bronson’s broke fairly quickly. My most recent set of Swiss have been ok, not great. Swiss 6 lasted better for me. Don’t seem them in shops that often. I skate slow and miss flip tricks so I guess it doesn’t matter.

That Yonnie board looks rad. Which shape is it? Seems like that particular shape was the only one I can remember people specifically noting as good, and they don’t make it as much

FWIW, my Bronsons broke in a few months skating only low impact stuff. Worst bearings I’ve had and I mostly buy cheap stuff.

I have 1 year old set of Bronson Raw that feels just as good as my other set of brand new ones. I have the G3 as well not as fast as the raw but I have yet to destroy any bearings. I skate ledges and low impact stuff and I like to cruise from home to work 4 miles each way

Sorry about your luck with them. I don’t know what the deal has been for some people but I’ve enjoyed mine. Anyway the board is the g028 shape, basically the short man’s dream shape. I think crail has only been making some of Yonnie’s boards on the g028 lately.

Thanks for the reply with the shape.
What I was trying to say is I have bad/random experiences with bearings. I still have some of the Bronson’s and some of those are faster and louder than any other bearings I have. I keep shields on until something seizes up and then usually take the shields off intending to replace them....but then I get lazy or pissed and just throw them in some part box that has old bolts and lucky risers from ‘98 and and that is that

I religiously skate Swiss, but got a free set of G3 Bronsons a couple years back. All but 2 of the cages broke apart in about 2 weeks, normal skating. Then I read on here, and heard from other skaters, that they had the same experience with the cages being shit. Can't really justify ever trying them again when I've been on the same set of Swiss for almost 2 years with no issues.

My Swiss 6 with ovalized races still rolls fine. Makes my wheels sound like they are flat spotted tho
