Gonna get weird on this thing. At first I thought this thing was stupid. Was kicking myself after passing. Scooped up 3 next chance I got

Zig Zogger 10.75 x 30
Independent 215s Chinese hanger/American baseplate
Formula Four 51mm 101 conicals
Reds
Shorty’s
Jessup

Not hating on this set up, but are the wheels kind of off? I don't like short boards (bad drunk experience that has me sworn off drunk or not), but I bet these are fun as shit.

It’s the way I’m standing over the board taking the photo all my setups look like that. 14 inch wheelbase is a little small for me being 6ft but once I stopped thinking too much and and skated it felt great.

Its big but small if that makes sense. I might have to swoop up two more decks I liked it so much skating flat only

Polar P9 8.625 x 32 [14.5 WB]
Ace 44
Spitfire F4 99a Kader Full Radial 58mm
Bronson Raws
Pig Rails

As I said in a few posts back I tried to downsize my board... wasn't quite working out considering I mostly skate transition it just felt unnatural so I went back to a board I had laying around and put the big wheels back on. Originally hated this board because of the longer wheelbase, but now that I'm skating ACE's its not really an issue.

I thought about this for some time, aces with a long wheelbase board like 14.5-14.75 anything Paul grund polar is always beauty

The grip tape got fucked up. I tried to make it easier to apply by cutting them but it just kind of went on shitty. I spend probably 2 minutes gripping the board. I dont sand, or file it or nothing. Just stick it on and cut it.

Skated an almost identical set up as this for most of last summer and loved it!

Ya only skated it twice so far but I love it!

I jumped from 7.75 to 8.12, both with thunder 147.

The 8.12 was too big of a jump, 8.0 is perfect for me and I feel like I get some extra pop with added height of the IndyS.

How hard is it to lay a piece of grip down and then lay another next to it without overlapping?

Or using one whole sheet instead of cutting it in weird thirds to make it easier.

My own design, pressed in the same press as this «artsy» small run company called Woodland skateboards.
8.4 x 31.5, 14 inch wheelbase.
The rune bands say «sakta leva, gamal dauða», Old Norse for «live slow, die old».
The sigil in the middle is an old Icelandic galdrastav for protection so I won’t need a helmet.
