Saintmarks Arabian Leopard - Squarish shape 8.5 WB:14.5 L:32.33
149 hollows
OJ elite 53s
Sunday bearings

Haven't skated it yet but digging the look of the shape

Retired my slave to build a deck for cruising/beers/daily transport.

Slave 8.5
149 hollows
53mm Keyframes
Collective Co ti bearings

Those Saintsmark’s look dope. If they get US distro I’ll get one for sure. Says they’re Mexican made, I’m assuming Clutch?

I believe so, but not positive to be honest. The wood feels great though, real crisp and snappy.

I got 7 sessions with the Darkroom, but a poorly landed heelflip shortly later followed up with an equally poorly landed switch flip led to a couple cracks in the middle of the board. I’ve had several people ask if I were skating an old AWS that I held onto

Have that raney board in my basement. Set up after I got ventures and it was a little too short with those trucks. Saving it incase I go back to thunder or indy since I really liked that shape on thunders

Weirdly hit axle on my front truck first so decided to use that as an excuse for a Christmas complete :). The cleaver has a huuuuuge nose I'm excited about.
Old:
Orchard 8.75 eggy shape
Film 6.0 with krux dlk
Spitfire F4 conical 53mm 99a
Rockin rons

New:
Cleaver 8.38
Film 5.5 Leo Valls
Haze wheels 54mm 99a conical
Blurs bearings

[close]
Can I please get the specs on that Orchard eggy? I skate their shop popsicles typically, but if they drop that shape again I might give it a shot.
It's a clutch T1 shape. 8.75X32.25 14.25 WB. I have one and it measures about 8.5 wide over the front trucks and 8.25 over the back.

I'm enjoying it! Flips around very easy for the width. My only complaint is is the taper. 149s fit the nose perfectly but the tail was a bit skinny for them. Overall it skates like an 8.375.

I actually have a T3 deck too. Ended up being too big to trick on but makes a great cruiser. This photo shows the T3 on the left, 8.5 in the middle, and the Orchard football on the right

Ya know, lately I've been under a lot of stress and I was doing some thinkin.. What can I do to counteract all the stress? Then it hit me... I needed to find some FUN. What could be more FUN than a football shaped deck? So I bought one.. But it wasn't FUN enough on its own. I still hadn't reached the level of FUN I was seeking. So I bought some vintage ventures and boy howdy were they FUN. But it still wasn't enough. I wasn't quite to the apex of FUN yet.. there was something missing. So I started to do some more thinking. It took me a while but all of a sudden I had an epiphany - tiny wheels! Like the ones people used to skate in the early 90s, which is scientifically proven to have been the most FUN era in the existence of mankind. Thus, I present to you - the pure, distilled essence of the very concept of FUN. FUN FUN FUN FUN IT'S SO FUN!

Blind 8.12 Brian Lotti reissue
Vinture 5.2s (original bushings and authentic lack of turning included)
Boardy Cakes 44mm fat bundts
GMN bearings
Black Magic

The wood is real good on Orchard shop decks.
To me clutch decks feel thinner than average, making them light and snappy. They do seem to flex and creak more as a result though. The kicks and concave are mid steepness. I whiff kickflips sometimes on the football because the nose is smaller than I'm used to

I'm definitely liking that Lotti setup. The ventures and boardy cakes tie it together nicely.

Is that just a nicely dyed top ply, or is there something more to that vivid aqua blue color?

Just a nice top ply and the oversaturation that modern phone cameras impart.
