I, apparently, can’t stand to buy a deck and not skate it. Wall hangers just aren’t my thing.

Numbers x Soulland Kyron Davis 8.28 (14.25wb)
Indy forged hollow 144 (stock)
sml 53mm V-cut AG formula
Bones Swiss mixed with Reds
Bronze 56k Allen bolts
Mob grip
Adidas Stan Smith x FA

A friend of mine owns a streetwear shop and sells Soulland so he got a bunch of those boards, I think he ended up not selling any so he gave me one for free. I actually quite like the shape/graphic, altho I’m not a huge numbers fan. But a free board is a free board  8)

I know this isn’t a popular opinion. but I miss numbers....😔
This has me cracking up, what exactly does Black Flag have to do with measuring your dick starting behind ya nuts?

Skateboarding is nothing but a game to find the right fits to appear like you're a proportional human being instead of a midget or a giant.

Another addition to my setup collection

Beach Bum Eagle
ACE 55’s with a single Indy soft bushing in the top of my front truck
56 97a F4 classics with Bones Swiss I took off another setup

I’ve been skating for 23 years and hope to be able to skate for at least another 23 more. I’ve never done a layback grind in my life but this board feels perfect for learning them ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Here’s the top view if anyone was interested and wondered what the cut looked like

Ey, thanks man! I actually haven't seen any of his recent boards...I got off insta a while ago and that's one of the only places i could follow local skate stuff. I had been sitting on this board because it was gonna be a wall hanger but I set it up for this new chick i'm dating. she taugh surfing in hawaii for a long time so she's actually really comfortable on a board, it's awesome.

Yes to the same size and shape as white eagles, such a big solid board to ride too.

Looks so good!

I’ve been looking for a primitive/heroin 9.125 egg for awhile now. Great setup man

sick setup..i love this shape i still got 4 of the primitive 9.125 egg. Also just got a Quasi Pool Skater Face deck, which is an egg shaped. the stamping on the top says 8.875 but when i measured it, its actually 9inch at the widest part, 13.75wb. PS wood.

8.75 Eagle with an 8.75 Blue Meanie on tap
Ace AF1 55 with 3 washers inside wheels and Acer Ti nuts (super thin)
56mm F4 99a Classics
Reds (will probably swap for swiss 6 that are in some unused wheels)
Mini Logo 1/10" riser
Generic phillips hardware

This is the 4th deck I have tried the Ace on.  I struggled with getting any ollie height on the other decks and so I haven't put many days on them.  I was close to retiring them, but the bigger wheels and risers help my ollie timing.  This may be a setup I can ride.

Blue Meanie was a favorite deck I had in the past.  I didn't expect them to re-release, but walked into the shop today and there one was.

Just a question about those wheels as they are the only other ones I have seen with the thin silver back print on them and the set I got was from 2013 from a Spitfire team rider when they first came out, so how old are your wheels or where did you get them?

Nice eye.  They are from the first drop.  I skated them one winter at an indoor bowl and then the park closed. I prefer 101s or STF/SPF at the concrete parks I go to, and smaller wheels if I'm skating 99s and doing flip tricks.  It also turns out I don't really like the classic shape so these have been sitting in a box for 7 years, but they are the widest wheels in the box so I thought I'd give them a roll and if I like the rest of the setup.  If so, maybe I'll put some 101 Conical Fulls on.

Just my personal opinion here, but if you ride the 56mm classics down to like 53mm they have a perfect shape.

How is the 55s treating you, and what did you come from? I got a set of af1 55s on ice, currently on indy 149ti. Snapped my plank yesterday on a flat tre and dont know what trucks to do on the next....

@Xen sold me onto trying this shape. Looking forward to getting some scratchies on it.

Alien 8.65 X 31.75-32ish ( SW had it listed as 32, but other sites had it at 31.75. When my tired eyes measured it, it was 31.8-31.9).
Venture 5.6 with hard bushings. Might take out the washers.
Satori conicals 54mm
Bones 6 ball and old swiss
Jessup gang.

Might get some new wheels, not sure if I like conicals but like Satoris. Kind of bummed on the length but I will try it out either way.  Last couple boards were 32.25. WB might be a little small for me too

x post from big boy thread

back in the 9+ club, treated myself to an early birthday present. got some inspiration from all the great setups i see up in here. first time trying grip like this, pretty pleased with how it came out i guess

welcome no strange delight on golem- 9.25 x 32.6, 14.8 wb
ace af1 66, stock (probably gonna leave it this way)
swiss 6, just cleaned + lubed
F4 54mm 97a conical full
jessup

haven't got too much time in on it yet, but from what i have gotten its been a blast. i really like these wheels, they seem like really good atv-type wheels for me. af1s felt pretty good off the bat, tightened back truck 1/4 turn and they feel like souped-up classics now. deck is longer than im used to, especially coming from hockey, but its rad. heading to park test it out on friday.

Krooked 8.38 x 32.25 and 14.5 wheelbase III (mellow) *new
Independent 149 standards
Spitfire F4 97 duro 56mm classics *new
Bones swiss
Shortys 7/8 silverados
Jessup grip

New wheels, so new deck too, but I machined off the swirl graphic so they are very clean looking now.

Definitely like the 97 duro for the newer slippery concrete parks.

Gone since 1988.  I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.
