Happily worn down 50mm Classics I think.

There have been some 48mm Classics getting around in the budget lines too, so that is closer to the early 90s BPSW era.

Not sure how many or where they are in stock though.

I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

Probably not the correct place for this question but cant find answers doing a search. Does anyone know which spraypaint works best / still slides on decks with graphics you arent really feeling? Also is there any that work without sanding? Just wondering if anyone has had experiences with this. Based in the UK so if it’s something that readily available here would be a bonus

Any gloss should slide better than matt finish.

Don't apply too thickly either.

As much as I am not really a heavy wax user nowdays, most people I know just wax anything that isn't sliding to their satisfaction, mainly the deck itself more so than any given obstacle, which will make any painted board slide no matter what is on it.  Just don't go too crazy with it, but it definitely goes from sticky to ultra slick in most cases.

I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

Here's my newest setup. The square tail and shorter nose took a bit of getting used to, but this thing really charges and now I love it. I've been riding a longer wheelbase lately but enjoying the responsiveness of this sub-15" wheelbase.

Scram: Brandon Perelson 8.80" wide, 32" length, wheelbase 14.75"

Speedlab Wheels 9th Street DIY 59mm/101a green and white swirl

Black Ace Trucks Classic 55 with stock bushings

Black Mob grip

Mounting hardware pulled from the junk drawer

Cheers!

Lol. Eldee is definitely a human. He’s like a raider on horse back who’s kinda scared to do battle. Somehow he closes his eyes and swings his sword wildly and wakes up in a pile of dead orcs.

You want water based/acrylic spray paint. It'll dry quick and won't smell strong either. Most people make the mistake of using oil based paint which takes ages to dry/harden and is sticky as fuck.
Give the deck a wipe down with a cleaner to remove any grease/dirt from your hands etc then give it a very light sand to key the surface. Then a quick dust off before spraying.

Thanks for the tip, have seen a few acrylics that are reasonably cheap and should do the job.

love the full shapes (like the Quasi Proto) but wanted an 8.75" so I popped for an FA, loving it so far!
8.75"x32.60" 14.5" WB (I'm 6'1", size 10.5 shoe - this is the most comfortable size I've skated so far)
Indy Stage 11 Standard 159 (swapped stock bushings for indy medium-hard blue bushings - medium loose - I weigh about 175 lbs and this feels perfect)
53mm Spitfire F4 Full Conical
Bones Swiss

Love it. I see you are running the Knicks bushings combo in your Indys, that's a great combo.
You might have the exact measurements for this deck?
Mostly tail and overall length.
