Wanted to try downsizing after a couple sessions on the quasi 8.75, so dropped to 8.5 and swapped in some narrower trucks. I'm in europe so this the weird price point wood, not bbs. We'll see how that goes.

Yeah, excited to try it regardless. The 60mm+ wheels are tough to go back from.

I'm pretty sure it's not, unless they're doing some funky shit with the export models. It had different stickers in the wrong places and the sanding job is pretty ass. If you look closely you can see some money cold sores on it.

Someone posted an Alien Workshop board in the Woodshop thread that was not BBS, but had Made in China on it so who knows these days.

Any other info would be appreciated, so I can update info there too.

Also looked back over and saw this one - new Habitat in EU were made in China, so it stands to reason the Alien Workshop boards would be too, given they are out of the same place.

https://www.slapmagazine.com/index.php?topic=120409.msg3951729#msg3951729

The latest batch of Habitat decks sold in EU have made in china stickers.

Gone since 1988.  I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

This is it.  Still fresh - he's got two weeks left recovering from a broken wrist.
Metal 8 x 31.625 x 14
5.2 Venture cast hollow
52 mm f4 99a classic
Bones swiss

nice work on hooking up your kid with the Venture cast hollows :o

This setup is sick, I’d by so hyped.
How’s the concave?
Hope the wrist heals.

@fulfillthedream
I’ve always been stoked on that shape, I like the tiny tail.
[close]

I think the Concave on these decks is perfect - I'd say medium.  I find the kicks to be right in the sweet spot as well.  Not too flat, not too steep.  I've been on an AWS kick myself as of late.  I find that they pair really well with Ventures.

i got lucky - got the 2 decks for $80 and they sent me the shape again!

Someone posted their new setup on r/skateboarding and I just could not help posting it here because it's the most cursed setup I've ever seen from someone that I'm pretty sure wasn't being ironic.

Everybody make a mental note of this board so when it pops up on Facebook marketplace in a year for cheap you can come up on those ceramics.

New deck is sick. Idk why it feels so different from the other one. They fit together like they came out the same stack

So

Glue 8.75
Venture 5.8 I enjoy looking at my back truck from back 50s. I do a lot of back 50s to break in the curbs I been making.
Spit og classic 58s the best wheel ever made maybe.

Bones white ceramic bearings. Still going strong fast and rust free after 6 years of heavy use.

Ye ole glue 8.5. so fun so nice. Definitely going on ice for potential re set up.

I need bolts. I noticed these are fucked up. I don't tighten my trucks much. Only when I'm really feeling both trucks shimming against each other and I can't take it anymore. Also I never buy the right size. I'm kinda dumb with it. I have like 4 sets of short shit sitting collecting dust.

The back truck. I gotta get more 5ohs going try to smooth it out a little. I love staring at it. See what's going on down there.

Do you get an wheelbitet with 58’s + venture trucks since ventures are notorious for wheelbite. I really like how your back truck is chunked out. You must grind tons of rough crete for that!
