Nah, they don't look bootcut or anything.

But, I have a long torso and short legs so I always cuff my mine and it works out well and looks good enough.

Sidenote I got 12 pairs of work pants at my job a few months ago (through cintas) and they are the best pants I've ever skated in, hella breathable material look like Dickies cargos but breath so much better and wick moisture so you don't have hella swamp ass post session.

Fixing to quit this job today but keeping these God damn pants.
Well I have like 9 Andy Anderson dated flight decks.

They fit a lot like 550 with more of a taper- more thigh room and smaller leg opening.

When I go for my nostalgia fit, closest I can get is 550 but up a size or 2 on the waist

They fit like a 550 in 2 waist sizes up. But without the waist bunching up.

They aren't that bad. If you aren't wearing skinny ass shoes they look alot better.

I remember when I was 15 my dad worked at a factory and got a bunch of those pants in dark grey. I would always steal them and wear them to skate in. They are better than Dickie's imo.

Anybody have recommendations for baggy jeans that aren‘t levis? Looking for some that fit similar to polar surf pants.

They're not the same, but I recently found a pair of their pleated denim chino they did awhile ago and they feel really great. If the denim on the baggy 5 pockets feel at all similar than they're a great pair of pants.

I have a pair of the baggy 5 pocket jeans. The material is pretty heavyweight, so I only break them out during the winter. They fit kinda like surf pants without any taper at all below the knees, so the leg opening is wide. Got a 30 inseam but the pair I have feels a little shorter than my other pair of 30 inseam levis.

highland cords look great, but i need some sort of review first on durability before i'd take the plunge for that price. i usually blow the ass out of my cords or they do this thing were they get transparent. but i saw these are even double kneed and the cord seems thick so they might be good for the winter.

Gonna throw out there I just got some Levis 541 Athletic fit denim.
They're tapered more than 550's, but the upper legs are looser for people with big butts and thighs.
For me, they're nice because they look baggier, but the leg opening is not as big so my pants never go over the tongue of my shoe minimizing the baggy raver effect.

I usually go 32's, but got 34's and think you should at least size up a bit to account for the tapered legs if you're going for baggy.

I cannot talk about the cords but I have a pair of the carpenter and 2 work pants, both of the skate line and they are great durability speaking. Also both on the heavier side. I would give cords a try, look on eBay, I used to see them around 20 bucks.

they don't make them anymore, but if you can find a a pair of the polar chino's , they were an inbetween of the polar bigboys and 93's for anyone looking for something like that.

yeah i bought a pair of their carpenters like two years ago when they were on a mad sale, they're really sturdy, i cut them down though into carpenter jorts. i probably wouldn't skate those pants anyways, so i might actually not blow them out this time. thinking more of these or some carhartts with flannel inside as winter pants. unless i stock up on thermal underwear.

looking for lightweight, tapered, loose fit pants. something a la polar surf pants I guess. I have some slim taper dickies I like but they’re a lil hot and don’t stretch for big meals. any rec’s?

I have a pair of 541s and really like them, but getting them true to size is definitely close to a slim straight fit. At least mine are. A lot of my Levi's are pretty inconsistent.

They now have some weird hemp baggy or loose fits but the denim looks weird.....it's funny how by the end of the 90's dudes were buying girls jeans to get them tight....I'm eyeballing girls jeans right now just wondering.....I'm guessing by the end of this year there will be more options.
