Picked up a pair of Levi's 559 relaxed straight corduroys last week, in a dark bluish gray with beige stitching, from the Goodwill for $11. They fit perfect and look really cool

Do we have any potential jort recommendations for the spring/summer 2025?

I just got the Billow jorts and I like them so far. Fit is good, length is good. The huf Cromer is ok. Passport looking good and want to try next.

Huf Cromer jorts are great but they're expensive for what they are. My rec is to buy Levi's 550 or another loose fit in 1 size big, find a local tailor and be like "have the hem hit right here" and they can make you shorts for a fraction of the cost. I've been able to find 550/560 or whatever at Goodwill for $12 recently so you get custom shorts for $25-$30

Ok

Anyone try limpies skateboarding pants? I found them on IG and they seem like one of the few “skate” brands on it that actually seems pretty legit.

I like my limpies. @Lou Strux put me on a pair and I wear them a lot. They’re more chillers than skate pants for me tbh but really comfortable. The only downside is undoing the belt to use the bathroom, they always try to fall completely off

I’ve been wearing red kap relaxed fit jeans sized up one and they’re great

Like 28 bucks, non stretch heavy black denim and definitely loose

Regarding trying Volcom Billow and sizing was kinda messed up but can't remember correctly.
Anybody tried them?

Homie kicked me down some 93 denim. Mad comfy. My lady hates em to the point where she says “if you wear jeans that fit for a week, i’ll do something for you…”

Vanity sized ie. 32 is closer to a 34".  You can hammer in 'Billow' into the search bar and tons of shit comes up.

Same. I've had them vary from wash to wash but pretty close. The Black Billows I find the most consistent. Personally I like the Billows and just got the Billow jorts, just need the weather to warm up where I am at.

I have them in rotation more than previous. Becoming a Volcom Billow fan. They better not blow it and stop making em...

My biggest gripe w/ Limpies is that they make me wish all of my other pants were Limpies too.
That & the fact that they so rarely drop new merch.

Always stoked to hear about you enjoying the trousers, BHJ.

These glowing recommendations are making me really want a pair of Limpies...

Hey, does anyone know how the brand Bricks & Wood fits in the waist? (Seems like everything is either an inch bigger than the tag says, or an inch smaller)
Thanks!

I have a pair and feel like they are definitely more tts than any other skate brand. I’m realistically a size 33 and my 32 double knees are pretty tight now. Yet my dime and polar pants are a “size 30” and they fit far looser.

GX1000 waists are pretty close to TTS, slightly bigger.

shorts run at or above the knee ime (sweat shorts being slightly below). if you look at online pics, everyone is sagging the shit out the shorts to make them look longer. i'd avoid purchasing their shorts w/o being able try them on 1st.

their online return policy is non existent also, so buyer beware on their site.

Thanks for the info. I’ve been buying shorts and pants that don’t fit because of incorrect information on the internet.

Dime in 38” is too big, Theories in 38” is too small and 36” in Butter is perfect. I hate sizing and wish I could try this stuff out. However, my local only carries clothes from AWH/Eastern.

Looking for something similar to Polar Railway Chino pants. Preferably elastic-type waistband. Might be a lot to ask.

Anyone have  multiple pairs of any polar pants? I want another pair of 93’s and while the size I have fits good I kind of can’t believe a size 30 waist is my size. It seems like their sizing is way off.

They're a lot less baggy, but Butter Goods wide leg pants are made of a really similar material and have an elastic waistband. I'm talking about these ones: https://us.buttergoods.com/collections/pants/products/wide-leg-pants-black-q225

im a true 30 waist and wear 28s, they fit me pretty perfectly and i hem the length with my own sewing machine . their sizing is way off. i account for the actual size being 2” bigger than tagged and take it from there

Snagged some Volcom baggy chinos for super cheap.

Hoping they’re a good alternate for a lighter pant compared to these heavy ass X Large one’s I wear a lot.

Levi's 565 '97 current go to, next to silvertab loose. Polar surf for summer but much expensive for ripping on 1st contact w cheese grater ground. Levi's Skate "Baggy" for being ridiculously rigid durable; only doable in winter though.

Nike sb kearney pants are pretty great for summer. Super light and stretchy and they are the only pants that I have that stay on my waist good because they have the climbing belt. Really baggy and they cinch on the ankles. Actually really like the look of them
