Ignorant, you've probably only ever heard the scottish great highland pipes. The bagpipe has a rich history worldwide and deeply rooted cultural significance. There are many many types of bagpipes with an abundant variety of timbres. Much like Common Time, drone music speaks to the human soul. Inability to appreciate the bagpipes is indicative of barbarism.
Although I do agree the scottish highlanders are the worst of the bunch.

Because its kind of insane to feel something like proudness for an "achievement" like skincolour.
To put it simple for you:
proud = you achieved something nice
skin color = you are born with it and did nothing for it. to see its socially constructed advantages as achievement is privilege.
so skincolour = nothing to be proud about. just something that is.

being proud about something you did not achieve = a symptom of schizophrenia/psychosis
so you are basically stupid and insane.

it is different because they don't have the privileges.

no privileges= harder life, bigger struggle, more obstacles

see it as "even thou there were moments that could have let me to jail or into gambling, I decided to act differently in this situations and stayed strong instead of falling into the trap. in retrospect I see that it was not the easiest way to keep my track. so I am proud I was able to make this choices and to have stayed strong enough in this situations".

if there was never any incident or situation for you to nearly get into jail or to get into gambling, you should reflect if this could be based on some privileges you may be had. the most extreme example I can think of: rich white lawyer parents in a country were gambling is illegal or inaccessible. Then ofc there is nothing to be proud of. If you still are, you are either stupid or insane.
