I have about a dozen decks and half dozen sets of wheels. Couple that with 4 sets of trucks that are practically new and about 8 pairs of blazers.

Only have about 7 sheets of MOB grip though so I might have to use that Jessup at some point.

Just went to my local in Los Angeles, they were nearly out of all Deluxe products. Few boards and the Spitfires were cleaned out. I know they posted Girl/Chocolate boards on their IG too but didn't see many of those. Plenty of Baker/Deathwish and enjois though. I'm thinking it's mostly because those products are just more popular but I'm sure the shop is experiencing shipment delays too.

I think you’ll find its the combination of both. We haven’t really had much inflation over the years, not nearly as much as other industries. I guess companies are needing to double down on their workload and need to raise prices to produce to meet the current demand. Spitfires have taken two small price price raises (at least down in aus) in the past two months. Sucks, but it was always going to happen sooner or later.

any update on how things are going in other areas? local shop (bay area) has almost no decks and said (last week) that they had been hitting up truck companies that they typically never order from who also had no inventory

I've been lucky enough to find some of those REAL Renewal decks. I'm sticking to those and the Krooked Price Point decks for now. They're just as good as a regular decks just without the flashy graphics and colored plies.
Any body else have any opinion on these price pint decks companies are selling for about 40-50 bucks? I've Santa Cruz and Creature come out with a couple and for them it makes more sense to have a price point market especially with them selling Everslick and all that other tech.

I sold a heap of old bike parts and used them to buy a complete new setup a few months back in Winter prepping for summer.

I haven't actually set foot inside an Australian skateshop in ages (again staying in due to winter) but I'm headed out tomorrow and might drop in the local to see how they're doing, although I've seen quite a few "board wall is stacked" posts on some local accounts.

Update - 3 of these boards happened to be those non-pricepoint Krooked eyes boards, and they all had the factory 8.5 sticker. Upon skating one for weeks, hating it, and getting used to the shape, skating one of the others and hating it just as much... I realized they were all marked 8.5 but were 8.3. I went to my quiver and pulled out an AWS "8.5" that also was an 8.3 but had the 8.5 sticker.
