Square-ish shaped decks?
« on: September 30, 2020, 04:39:57 AM »
I had a 8.38 Baker B2 and loved it, as well as an AWS 8.25...both were more square in the tail and nose. Since I’m stuck with shopping online, besides the two mentioned above, what others are there to look at with this shape?
Thanks in advance!

Also 917, REAL has them too, I believe they call it "Full SE"

Some shop decks are also jumping in on the trend, at least here in eastern Canada they are.

Yeah I'm on a REAL full se right now and it's just like a FA or quasi in terms or square shaped. I like it alot.

They do make amazing decks, I'm on a Hockey 8.5 right now but definitely will skate another full SE in the future.

If you you can try to get the 8.5 full se Max schaff K9 graphic. That's the one I'm on and if you like Hockey shapes you'll love this one too. I have yet to try a Hockey or FA for myself. Have only seen people who have had them.

Polar popsicles seem to fit the bill too. They also have the Arigato if you're interested in trying something really, really square, but it's only available in 8.38 (please pontus give me a bigger arigato)

The Baker B2 and DLX Full SE are not in the same ballpark as WKND/FA/AWS when it comes to square nose/tails.

The B2 is more like a full/DLX SE as it isn't pointy.

I think this thing was limited and is sold out all over, but bask in that square greatness. Wouldn't mind giving one of these a go if they ever make more.

I was just looking at that a couple days ago.   Reminds me of another one I missed out on:  The LibTech 8.5 Sky High

And my favorite deck I skated in 1991

8.47" x 32.25" x 15"WB

If they made a 32" or under with a 14.25" WB I'd be all in, it's a great shape, I use it as my crusier now (ACEs+Bones Rough riders+Cell block rails

i skate nothing but Real 8.06 Full SE. Just to clarify the SE is short edition so 14in WB. They make Fulls without the SE as well so normal WB but with the fuller nose and tail. I also agree with the above that although its a nice fat nose and tail, its not really in the same ballpark in terms of squareness like the FA/Hockeys I've seen.

Would be sick[er] if it wasn't 10"+

There's a huge market for a squaresicle (rounded blunts). Who wants to go in on it?
