About a month of skating

Did a couple no comply tails to make it look like I can tail slide…

I advise you to learn slappy tailslides, even I can do them.
slappy tail slides are a tonne of fun, but absolutely mince my tail (see pic up above)

Impish sausage is definitely gonna blow up as a euphemism this year

Any advice? Are you supposed to power slide in?
learn (no pop) nollie tail slides; it’s the same movement but you just keep all four wheels on the ground!

My frontside ones are better than my backside these days

Looks amazing. A friend of my wife did that series and I got that same one. Trying to decide if I want to wall it or skate it.

What size films are those?

Very tasteful. Swinging for the fences early on, absolutely love to see it.
Well I have like 9 Andy Anderson dated flight decks.

Sick! That's one of my favorite series I've seen in awhile. I just ordered the 9 inch Jake the snake during my black Friday spending spree. Hahaha

They are the 6.0s (I think)? Whatever Film's labeling is for the 8.75 axle.

That rules. If I run mine I am going to try some Venture 6.1s on it.

Hell yeah. That's the move. 8.75 trucks are perfect (IMO) with the taper on 9 inch eggs.

Your trucks look beautiful. And now I miss my old ones I retired 2 months ago. New trucks are.. new. I don't know, they don't have as much soul.

If you have photoshop it's pretty easy. If you were looking for a free app, sorry, haha

Shoot photos as straight on as possible, contrasting background color is helpful. There is a setting on iphone where you can see a grid and crosshair in the center of the shot, I used this to shoot things dead on. I also tried to shoot my photos in the same location and time of day so the lighting was similar, but ended up photoshopping things a bit to help consistency.

Import photos into photoshop. Use "Object Selection Tool" to select, then mask out the background (this is where the contrasting background helps). Stack each photo as it's own layer in a single document, with the first image at the bottom in ascending order, and align them as closely as possible. Delete any unnecessary layers.

Then go to Window>Timeline. and in the window that pops up click "Create Frame Animation" There you should see each layer as a frame in the animation, where you can set the timings. Each frame can be set to 1 second, looping forever. Then go to File>Export>Save For Web. Save as a Gif (around 1000px wide is good). And that's it!

This one is coming to the end of it’s life. My fourth AWS/Habitat in the 8.25 x 32.25. Still has a couple plys left, I will leave it at the park for someone else to enjoy.

Another attic find

My first ever deck is the second from left, the world industries. The far left is a Girl deck. Can't remember what the others are.

They are all so skinny and mellow. The girl has barely any kicks at all. Id say itd skate great on venture lows

I always had a ton of respect for those kids in middle school who would show you the “scrapes” on their board as a way to prove they actually ripped.

I love the way a minimal graphic/stained backround looks when fresh, but they're pretty lackluster after they've been skated. Just doesn't get the juices flowing like a colored bottom ply peeking through does.

Works okay if the bottom ply is a lighter color like orange or yellow, harder to notice with darker browns or greens. My Chico Krooked is looking great these days.

Impish sausage is definitely gonna blow up as a euphemism this year
