Love the 8.75 workshop shape. The full/square nose/tail combined with the 6.75 tail is choice.

Boy I love the way those red baseplate Ace's look. They go super well with your board. Sick setups.

About 5 sessions in and this one’s feeling pretty good. 8.25 deck and I was running 144 standards but I switched over to my old 149 forged hollows and it’s a lot more comfortable than before.

The forbidden 14 is an abhorrent idea to me. It's like being an Amish person, except instead of electricity and modern medicine, you deny yourself the endless pleasure of backlips

I personally go out of my way to boardslide during the first session on the new board just to not let myself be precious about it.

Is there any overhang with 149s on 8.25 decks?

I don't like it when I see the axle nuts from above, or even worse, the wheels.

It’s not really noticeable. At least not much different visually from the 144, but I am skating 52 classics so if you’re running a larger wheel you might notice it more. The added stability is nice because I feel more relaxed standing “between the wheels “ rather than feeling like I’m standing right on top of them, ( if that makes sense).
