Absolute crime for this to have been a round 1 matchup. Feel like they should have face off in the quarterfinals at least.
Its because of the logistics. In the scramble to try and salvage something of this they put them together because they're both euro. Think of it as the EU championship game.
I do think Giger was kind of taking it easy or "doing it for the content" and trying to extend the game a bit. He's got way more circus tricks than he pulled out here. He's got like the ultimate youkooker style/appearance/mannerisms/trucks but I don't mind him so much, his street part is actually not bad. That being said, I think the better man won.
Griffin is weird but he does shit that I've never seen anyone else do, there's a clip out there where he rolls up to a triple set and does a tre flip down the first set, tre double flip down the second, and then tre triple down the third iirc. It was one of those things I had to stop and go back to make sure I saw it correctly. I don't believe he's got a chance to win unless he goes straight to the circus shit every game though. I think guys like Joslin/Luan/Sewa will keep him on defense the majority of the time with their consistency and deep bag.
