Did they post the salary for that? I thought that was a requirement in CA now, but I don't see it.

Just wanna take a half second to shout out @144p & the 35th Ave establishment for continuing to be one of the bright lights in the NW skate scene.
I couldn’t find what I was looking for here in the bay, so I went wandering to some of the old familiar stomping grounds & these homies made sure to go the extra mile in order to get me the hard to find metal.
Solid shop & I continue to appreciate the effort they put into customer service.
How many joints gonna text you on the regs, keeping you abreast of  progress, let alone bend over backwards to find an item that is in stock nowhere.
I see & appreciate y’all.
Wasn’t my 1st time, and it won’t be my last.

I wanna play you in a game of SKATE for the right to continue talking shit on me… You think you got me?

Also…
I don’t come around this thread very often, but if Community in Surrey, BC is ever hiring, will one of y’all let me know?
Thanks in advance.

Hey Lou next time you’re up in the lower mainland I could maybe pull a couple strings with Hippie Mike and get you a meeting with Chadd. I’ve heard he runs a tight ship though.

worked in the local shop for a summer when i was 15 (three years ago, i know im ancient) and was the most fun shit ever. always something to do. i usually ran the counter and set up boards for people and gave advice on what to get depending on what said person was doing. while only being paid $10 an hour it was the coolest job ill probably ever have. ive known the owner since i was 4 so it was a no brainer when he asked me to work for him. i now ride for the shop and am very happy in the context of the skateshop family. thanks don! (if ever in st.louis check out earthsurf skateshop. coolest selection of old decks. owner used to write and take photos for thrasher and has a lot of cool friends.)
Mrs Elf is a pretty cool name.

And Mrs Elf destructing is even cooler.

So this thread isn't just for skate shops but jobs in the skateboarding industry? I'd have checked it out a lot sooner if I knew that. Cool idea.

I'm not sure if it makes sense - maybe a little off topic for slap - but a general job board could be cool. Someone's looking to hire a freelancer, for example. Or there's a position open at someone's company and they can do a referral. A problem is it could give away too much info but someone could say, "My company is looking to hire a web developer, etc... DM me if you're interested and I can give you more info".
