hot take but the kid is a bit of a dunce, expecting to get his footage from the guy/company that put him on, filmed him, supported him in some way via taking him to spots and feeding him. After burning the guy/company by saying he no longer wants to be in his video. Guess everything was cool until Gifted Hater started talking shit, now junior doesn't want to play for the losing team. Mikey is probably the Kook of the Year, although he really wasn't exploiting this kid. Drove him around and filmed him and gave him some shine in the video. Pretty standard stuff for a flow kid to do. The kid is good but he's not blowing minds, pretty basic fs rail chomping by the looks of it.
Now that I think about it, it's pretty smart burning Mikey and IC with this shit, using the negative hype around him/ the brand to boost his own name. Becoming like a martyr for the cause. I'd be surprised if that was his angle all along.

the kids jumping ship said they were being lied to about the footage and what was being used. The dude grinded like a 20-stair and it was put in the trailer.
Also Mikey mentioned having to also pay the filmer in addition to the $700k for hostage footage screenhots... but now the filmer is leaving?
The kids were probably eager to get started with a company that was at one point affiliated with reputable pros of today.

It's reasonable for him to ask for some cash to cover the time/effort but if he'd made a realistic figure he could've at least got some cash from a shitty situation.
The clickbait "we robbed someone" video has some susitivity and
it seems probable that they didn't know how they'd be portrayed until seeing the final productObviously there are two sides to the story so we can't fully know...
But if dishonesty, cringe marketing tactics, and using the brand social media to be defensive toward overwhelming valid constructive criticism.. aren't enough reasons to leave a brand in your opinion, I'm really curious to know what you would consider appropriate grounds to leave a brand?
