random tricks from parts that have been stuck in your head
« on: November 08, 2022, 10:35:55 PM »
was wondering whether there were any random tricks that stuck out to you or that you remember really clearly from video parts.

for me, its this fakie manny fakie heel out rowan does at 14:35. the way he flicks out of it makes it look so effortless and laidback. i love seeing rowan do anything switch.

if you have one put it in the thread.

Oh god soo many.

BA - Yeah Right, the nose grind at 3 up 3 down when the flash goes off midway through

PJ Ladd - Sorry, when he does the switch heel on flat and immediately rolls over the grate (the noise sticks with me)

Cody Mac - smoke and mirrors, the backside flip across the roundabout.

Reynolds - TIS bonus section, the halfcab on flat before jumping down something crazy.

Many many more

Eman's backside flip at 29:50 Most of his big flip tricks were frontside, and then he just blasts over a street on this one.

This pop shuv front crook by Rob Welsh in the Mad Circle 5 Flavors video is burned into my brain and I think about it frequently for the past 20+ years.

Also I guess I don't know how to embed a video on a forum anymore.

Louie fanboy, but the 5050, nose manny, nollie fs flip out at 1:56 in his recent spitfire part.

It's one of my favorites.

Greco's nollie backside flip down Wilshire 10 in Baker2G

MJ's double flip mid-line in his Modus part

Lucas' switch front 3 heelflip over the hydrant (can't remember which video it was in)

Pat Chanita's switch front feel down bricktown in one of the 411 intros.

I also think about that front nose nollie back heel out from the intro of that recent Vans Europe video. Feel bad that I don't know dude's name

I know people call them "illusion flips" but that one was like a legit optical illusion.
I had to watch it like 5 times, then I watched it about 5 more times after I realized what was happening.

Was always a big fan of Satva too. His song in Welcome to Hell is when I decided to drop the guitar and pick up a bass.

Dill's bank kickflip filmed through the chain-link fence in Photosynthesis - maybe not random but etched on my brain. Rewatched so many damn times.
