oh yeah all those brands making under armor style gear that is so popular in skateboarding these days.
i don’t think anyone here would argue that waste/pollution/scummy labor practices are good, but it’s a fact that brands survive and thrive off of soft good sales. like would there have been a photosynthesis if aws hadn’t sold so many t-shirts to ravers in the 90s? if companies only sold boards i don’t think there would be many brands, which would be better environmentally but would make for a pretty boring vision of the industry.

Is there a difference between the production of the cotton T-shirts with Spitfire logos on them and the blank ones I might buy at target? If not then I might as well throw some bucks towards skaters whose videos I enjoy.

Can’t stand the way Gildan shirts fit. I get bummed when I go to shows and the merch table is all Gildan tees. I understand why brands use their shirts though. Gotta keep that ROI high
