Loved these potatoes:

I bought a pair of these at the time when they released and was so disappointed once I noticed my pair was defective and “bent”. Like the outsole was glued crooked, wouldn’t sit straight. I still wore it casually but never actually skated in them. Had G-codes before them too, and Herman 2s before those aswell (I was a big fan).
The first production run of the Herman G6s had awful QC, but they caught it early on and switched factories and the later runs were much better quality. I believe it was only the Hermans because the Reynolds G6 and Heritic G6 that launched at / around basically the same time didn't have that issue. I remember because a lot of people on here at the time all tried out those shoes and the only ones consistently dinged for quality control were the Hermans. People talked to shop owners, reps, etc. and gave feedback and were told Emerica already knew about it and were fixing it and it delayed the second wave of colorways a few weeks. But future waves of the Hermans were much better, more consistent quality.
I lucked out in either getting a good pair of the first production run or one of the first pairs of the second run because I got mine pretty early on after they released and I loved them. And I loved the Westgate G6 (with the runner toe). I think about that shoe all the time. I'm so pissed I didn't stock up on them, but they seemed like such a staple, I hoped I wouldn't need to.
