I am a buecratic pen pusher who gets paid alot but does very little. My duties include desperate attempts to justify my own existance and also to make life harder and harder for people who actually have meaningful jobs.

my current job is sitting around waiting for disability to kick in.

My last jobs were giving away free drugs for drug companies, and working security at the Great American Music Hall/Slims in SF, but I haven't had a real job in over a year...

i'd much rather work a stint in a manual labor/trade job before transferring to college, though. so much more gratifying at the end of the day.

I was working as a dishwasher, but since I just moved for the new school term, I have to find a new job. I'm hoping to get get a job as a gallery attendent at one of my school's art gallery so I can just sit and read most the time. Also I'm interning (non- paid

) at my schools newspaper as an illustrator.

Business troubleshooter - I go in, look at what they do, then tell them how to do it better; sometimes contract doing finance or a bit of programming - I'd love to change to full-time consultancy so I can pick and choose my hours. The company I'm at right now is paying me to do nothing, retaining me "in case there is a problem" which is why I'm on here all my working days. Funny thing is that I spend all my time counting the seconds until I can leave, blaze and grab my board: double-lives rule!!

i work at a company that builds seismic imaging systems as a programmer.

it's basically like being a well paid student and my office looks like it's in a building on campus. lots of older guys with gnarly beards and guys with russianish accents and shit like that (which I prefer to the well dressed business douchebag types, spouting off buzz words and business slang, those first and last name kind of assholes "hi I'm bill swarts..."). i'm also working with some school friends of mine that i've known for 10+ years, which is great. i can wear the clothes I skate in to work which is cool because eventhough I enjoy my job, I also find myself

Pay isnt bad, I have an office and I wear jeans, tshirts and sneakers everyday to work.

that's funny, I'm actually in a project management class right now (i just cut class to come check the board). thinking about encouraging my wife to go in that direction. did you get any cirtifications or special training or did you do a management degree? how'd you get into it?

i run the skate program at the biggest boardshop in town, im also the team manager. screenprinter by trade, id love to start doing it for a living again. im counting the months till i get my license back and i can go back to supra dist for a sales rep position
