Just got these today. I grew up rocking the lo cut and I'm in love with them. Super comfy and look like they'll skate great! Plus they were only $25 on the house website. Bought 2 pair!

I respect your willingness to rock an uncool shoe

I’ve been wearing these around the apartment to break them in before I start skating them

Exactly why I like them so much! Nostalgic, cheap and people are always looking down on me for not rocking the cliché Nike, Adidas, or vans. I'm just finishing up a pair of dc tribekas that I got for the same reasons. Respect on the legacys as well! I enjoy skating shoes that last longer than a week and actually have some material/ features to them! Plus I'll be 30 in a month so I'm past my days of needing to be the "cool" guy! 😂

Ha! I’m turning 30 in two weeks. If I didn’t have so many pairs of Legacies I’d get some Tribeka’s. I’ve been skating my current pair for two months and they’re just now ripping through. I do a fair amount of flip tricks and I like the grippest grip I can get. They hold up and the quality is there. I love Vans, but I can’t skate in them anymore. They’re strictly chillers now

The lowcuts were an amazing shoe at the time. Seeing them brings back a lot of good memories.

Emerica omen hi cos they were 50% off, lockdown has me impulse buying and my old ankles like being protected.

High top feels pretty stiff out Of the box but breaking in nicely.

First “not vans” in a while.....

i'd really like to know how the fit compares to a blazer mid/hi.

I’ve never had any Nike’s to compare. They feel like a slightly narrower skate hi pro with a cushier insole if that helps?

sounds good, thx dude. pretty much what i like about blazers compared to skate hi, more snug, more structure, insole more comfortable.

I don’t have a pic because they’re annoying to upload and post here, but I regret to inform all of you that the Vans Berle Pro’s are extremely good... and pretty benign in the black/white colorway.

Just finished skating these Elevates. Really recommend this shoe - great flick, grip, look, comfort. With some shoes I get mild plantar fasciitis but these had great support as well. Relearned nollie flips in them.

Will start to skate these Supreme/Nike Lunar Gatos. They're lightly worn and not skated in, got them for a great deal on Depop. They're really comfortable and have a good flick as well. I only skated them for five minutes to decide whether to switch to them or a fresh pair of Elevates and they won. I have a ton of shoes that I want to skate down to the bone this year. Once I skate these I'll give another update.

This has me cracking up, what exactly does Black Flag have to do with measuring your dick starting behind ya nuts?

Skateboarding is nothing but a game to find the right fits to appear like you're a proportional human being instead of a midget or a giant.

What’s the sizing like in gatos ? I remember trying on the lunar ones and they were too tight on the top of my foot, curious if they’re different now. Generally I’m 9.5 in Nike stuff

These are size 9 and feel perfect. I'm either a 9 or 9.5 depending on the brand. I had a pair of Dunks in 9.5 and they didn't feel too big...I'd guess go a half-size down to 9 in Gatos as well. Worst comes to worst it's just half a size smaller. I'm trying to wear a smaller shoe personally to see if it helps my flick and cuts down on toe drag, and I like it so far.

The canvas is surprisingly durable since it's thicker, but the insole is a hit or miss

But they are removable. If they threw on something like straps the shoe would be pretty much a skate shoe. Love my pair as a slightly wider foot person.

These felt a little weird in hand, but I thought they’d skate pretty great once broken in.
