the picture sharing here is a pain...I give up.This should be fixed for good.

I gave up time ago. Every time I’ve tried to post a picture, slap blocks my user. Absolutely nuts.

If you do not do the "image attach" function when posting, you can do this instead.

The trick is this:

Step 1: Create an image server account to archive media: ImgBB, Imgur, Flickr, etc.

Step 2: Upload photos/videos/GIFs to image archive service

Step 3: Get direct image link that ends in ".png" or ".jpg" from desired image - example: "https://i.imgur.com/9xW5FRR(dot)jpg"

Step 4: Use the [img ]http://[ /img] (Mona Lisa icon) and paste the link between the two img brackets

Step 5: Preview your post to confirm image displays before posting

Step 6: Happy posting with images! Side note - if you find an image on a website > open image in New tab > copy image page link > paste image page link into the Mona Lisa image brackets and it should work! I'll try to find an example and post below

It's a pretty straightforward process once you understand the POST IMG > COPY LINK > PASTE LINK > FORMAT CODE cycle to share images on here if the attachment one doesn't work

Example:
It should look similar to the function below but no spaces in the bracket functions. The spaces here allow you to see the code parameters. If I close the spaces, you see the photo, which means it works.

Another good thing to be aware of is how to get your sometimes huge images to display normally in the post and also offer the option to see the full resolution image.

In the [img ] at the beginning of your link you can do an adjustment that will look like [img width=400] and post a reduced sized image that formats nicely on phones. In this case, I believe the full value is expressed as [img width=1000] so by changing that number to 400, you’re producing an image that is  reduced by 60%. This is helpful because default resolutions on modern phones cameras usually result in huge images. Remember to use the preview function before the post function and size your image accordingly. 40% expressed as =400 is just a suggestion but also a good place to start.

Thank you!! Yes, I’ve done this process uploading to imgBB and Imgur and then, the “Your account has been blocked” site appears. I’ve tried attaching a picture and it was successful but the picture was really small :P but it’s ok!

Bummer since you already tried it with no luck...

Wish I had a solution to the "account block" issue as I haven't seen anyone else have that issue yet :/

Hmm, maybe there's some settings issue on the image service site? Or, is it Slap blocking the account and the file path? Another idea might be that the service site you're accessing may be region locked (if you're not in the US) or there's a firewall/security issue that's blocking your account from being active and used to share links to photos from it?

There's a Questions board that may have more info on image sharing/accounts/services to solve this, maybe check that out if you haven't yet?

Keeping the earthy chocolate colored shoes going: vegan etnies Joslin. I'm a sucker for all brown shoes like these! I can't wait to skate these after my current black/gum Joslins

Remember I got them the second they came out years ago and skated then straight away. When they started to rip a little bit I was like "I'll leave them for walking now since they still look decent". Glad I did.

480s son't fit me the way i need them to for a skateshoe......right now debating to get the white/blue rowans or maybe even black/ white?
they look terrible in most product fotos but i think on foot or in video they do look nice...

Edit: True to Size on those???

True to size for me. The toe is pretty pointy but that’s how my foot is, so it works great.

Visual seems mint. How are the materials to touch?

I haven’t held real SB Dunks recently enough to reference, but these feel pretty good albeit maybe a little stiffer than real ones?  The suede feels nice, the leather is definitely a little pleathery but not too cheap feeling, the “Zoom Air” insole is basically just flat with a little air pocket glued under the heel.. but they’re reasonably comfortable, not as tight in the midfoot as most Nikes/NBs I’ve tried.  The stitching and glue job on the soles and panels seem solid from what I can tell.  And the translucent gum sole actually feels quite grippy!  If they last more than a few sessions without falling apart I’d definitely consider ordering more.

Reebok BB4500s

@Coastal Fever good looks on the rep link, I just ordered a pair so I'll report back on my findings as well. I love the way dunks look, but people are just insane with the pricing, I can't justify it 99% of the time (unless I get a good deal, which does happen sometimes).

I skated a rep pair of the black Supreme cement dunks around '06-'07 and to be honest, they skated just as good as the "sb" dunks. Not that all reps are equal, but food for thought.
