1. Bought a sheet of Jessup from eBay and I got a sheet of generic cheap looking black grip with a blank paper backing that was too short for my board (must've been like 31 inches in length total). I'd be more pissed if it wasn't only 1.50$

2. Went to the local park to break in a new board and shoes. Towards the end of my sesh I did a trick on flat and when I landed I heard a tiny cracking sound. I looked all across my board and under to see if I could find signs of cracking, but didn't find anything that looked suspicious. What could it have been then? Now my OCD is gonna kick in hard everytime I skate and its gonna be all that's on my mind when I'm skating it.

I find PS boards do that cracking thing..., no break just crunchy sounding landings, I think it's the plies cracking around the trucks.

Yeah I know what you mean, but it wasn't like a loud creaking sound that might've sounded like a crack, this was actually a crack, I know it when I hear it. But still, when I look at my board I can't find anything, which is why it's so weird to me. Looked around the trucks and everything looks fine.

Just sold my Neurosis w/ Sleep tickets for this Friday because I moved this last weekend, don't have internet at the place yet, and fell waaaaay behind in school. Spending the next few days in the library instead of unpacking, because internet. My cat shit a bloody turd last night then proceeded to clean his bloody asshole on my bed. Need to take him to the vet if it doesn't clear up soon. In a bad spot right now.

Sorry the universe is taking a dump on your life right now. I hope you can at least salvage your grade and find a vet for your furry friend.

A huge fuck you goes out to the 18 year old dickheads on Instagram with pictures of them golfing, skiing, perfect teeth, and jewelry claiming to know more than anyone. These are people that only knows the taste of their mom's dick since they are constantly sucking on it to pay for all those things since they don't even know how to earn their own money.

I'm pretty sure it's a half pike, and you do kick flicks on it. Sometimes you can throw in a flontside glindal.

You and the D00D have turned this thread into a horrible head-on-collision between a short bus full of regular kids and a van full of paraplegics.

Smashed my knee about 2 weeks ago now, the majority of impact points have healed but either my ACL or PCL still feels like shit when I put pressure on it and feels weak after an hour or so of moving around.

Tried to have a fuck around slappy session yesterday to stave off the cabin fever and rolled my ankle on the opposite leg.

There goes my 3 month no injury streak.

ill murray, can you remind me why you think im a kook

Never met him personally, but I know a handful of kids from that area who did and seeing it talked about on facebook/ig was fucked. Couldn't help but feel bummed about it myself. Sorry for your loss dude.

So let's add another bone bruise and a practically brand new broken board to this.

I can't leave Canada until I get my work permit... Which will take 3-5 months. I was going to do a couple of weekend trips to Portland, Seattle and SF but noooooope, I'll loose my implied status.
Even work wanted to send me to NYC for a week but I can't go because I won't be allowed back. Fuck you Canada.

We are having an event to help raise money for our skatepark in April because its getting relocated. My friend put up some flyers all around the park for it. Well when i was leaving the park today a cop came and took them all down and said you can't advertise on township property, so he "cleaned up the mess" and took down all the flyers. If they were so worried about cleaning up our shitty skatepark, maybe the best thing for them to do is to clean up the graffiti. Skatepark is getting closed anyway to make more room for the police station ( our park is right behind the police station), so i would think they would help us since they got their way instead of being complete douche bags. Fuck cops

I decided to stop being lazy and get out and skate around on Wednesday. Had a solid day, skated to a meeting at work, had a couple beers with coworkers after, then went home to change. Decided to skate to my friend's house to smoke before going and seeing my girlfriend at work. Halfway to my friend's place, I go to push and my ankle just snaps. Seriously the most nauseating feeling ever. Ended up calling 911 since I couldn't move, went to the ER and sure enough I broke one of the bones in there (I can't remember which one). Fortunately my girlfriend has been amazing even though I've been in a shitty mood about it. The real bummer is right before that push I thought "this is so much fun, I can't wait to do this all the time again." Now I'm not sure if I'll ever get the confidence back to skate, plus the lady is pretty adamant about me not doing it anymore. I miss walking and being productive.

At least in the mean time I can get back on SLAP, haha.

^^^ that's terrible, heal up man!

Fell off the wagon last night. Woke up with a massive headache, stumbled in to the kitchen for water and saw that my cat threw up 3 times, had another bloody turd, then ran around the just cleaned carpet with his bloody poop paws and dripping asshole. So I'm at the vet right now, fucking hating life.

I'm there right now. He's a super mean cat to strangers, so they have to sedate him every time he goes in. Ends up costing so much extra for the sedation. It's really the only way they can handle him though. Last time he was at the vet he bit the shit out of me and sprayed fear diarrhea all over his carrier. It's always an adventure with this guy.

Sorry about your cat Nallid, hope he heals up soon.

Skated for the first time in a while yesterday because of weather and stuff, I ended up trying a flip trick and it popped up and to avoid contact with my face I clenched my fist and ended up catching a board to my knuckles with the griptape side of my board.  Also after not eating fast food for like 6 months I fucked around and ate McDonald's like twice this weekend.
