Anyone watching the Giro? It has been pretty entertaining so far.
Saturday’s leg should be exciting. Some crazy climbs for this one.

That time trial was crazy by Ganna.
I liked that Bettiol won the stage in his hometown. Was rad seeing him celebrate with his friends and family.

Took the rig out, was working on a switch boardslide up to regular manny, ended up just doing a switch manny and cruising around, ended up at another spot watching Ryan Thompson do a gigantic kickflip, he had a whole production there (filmer and camera person…who was none other than Joel Meinholz) they let me kick it as a fly on the wall just kinda watching, smoked a joint and drank a few beers while watching that go down, Ryan got the clip said congrats and fanned out on Joel a lil bit ( huge last of the Mohicans fan over here) overall not a bad Sunday cruising around by myself, really opened my eyes on getting out there and doing it, my friends were kinda MIA so I decided to go out on my own and I’m glad I did

What’s the flatbar thing in the clip? Is that part of the parking lot or something you brought. It’s hard to tell what’s going on with that from the perspective.

They bolted that as a skate stopper, then people started using it as a flatbar, then they welded actual stoppers on it, then someone removed the bolts they attached it to, so I’ve been twisting it around and grinding up the small part of the rail and trying to manny afterwards, it’s a cool spot, and super mellow, I always move it back so it looks like it’s still attached

Love the fact they ‘skate stopped’ it only to be skated. If the knobs are less than 1/2” you can still get boards/lips on it unless you’ve got a super flat concave.

@pekkaaa that's a nice bike! Hell yeah @Texas_Tone , I put a panier bag on the other side of my fairdale carrier and throw cans or whatever in it and it kinda balances out the bike, spot looks fun especially out of the sun/rain.

LOL, that's hilarious they actually installed a flatbar as a skate stopper. The company that sold that was definitely trolling.

Hmmmm. Maybe skaters should start a company that ‘skate stops’ spots that are actually add ons like that bar.

Nice feeble btw.

Super cool that there is a thread like this. Just got a proper bike from a family member and ive been going on rides for a few weeks. I did some research on it and it seems that its not as cool as other bikes that you can get at the same price, but I dont want to jump the gun and buy a new one. I dont think I can financially sustain bike madness compared to board madness lol. For now I added some big bmx pedals, new grips, and a bottle cage. If anyone has any recommendations for what I add on to this bike lmk ;D.

I say this all the time about cameras, and it applies to bikes too. The best one is the one you will use.
Does that Fuji do what you need from a bike? Is it fun for you to ride? Comfortable? If yes, no need to get deep on the gear madness. Go riding and enjoy!

Great advice!  You can have fun on pretty much any bike as long as it's working properly.  I see way too many people buying new bikes and then thinking they need; a new drivetrain, carbon bars, carbon wheels...etc.  The only time I change parts right away is if it's things like pedals, grips, seat, or cockpit.  All things that make the bike a comfortable fit for me.  After that I just ride the bike until I find something that actually annoys me, and upgrade from there.
